In a city known as Tartarus there is a conflict between the Capital and the Rebellion, and as a result of this a powerful chemical weapon called ATLAS is created. This weapon can only be activated by entering a 20-digit code - there is no other way to use it.

Abigail is a young messenger girl for the resistance, and after receiving a letter to deliver from the inventor of ATLAS, she finds herself in trouble. Unfortunate events place her as the only person alive who can use it.

But the prospect of war and murder are new to Abigail, and in a life so full of tragedy, Abigail soon becomes haunted by guilty nightmares that test her strength and courage.
