"We both know we're being fake." Amaris mutters, scratching the concrete floor. The large black mass makes noises as it moves. She don't look up, she sighed, tired of the same game they've been playing. "...why do you even still try at this point."
It pauses its movements, seemingly have turned to Amaris. "We just want to be your friend." It says in a sickly. obviously fake, sweet tone. Just its voice sends waves of discomfort over her body, leaving her to shudder in disgust.
"...sure you do." Amaris sarcastically replies. "And I definitely want to spend another minute with you."
"...just accept our friendship."
"No, you're here to hurt me. And use me." I frown. "I may be naive from time to time. and overly caring of other people's preferences over mine. But I do not like being used."
"...you're alone! We're you're only friend, nobody will love you as we have."
"So? I have myself to love myself with, and God as my friend. What do I need you for?"
"Y o u ' r e a l o n e." It screeches.
"And you're a waste of my time."
It hisses at her, infuriated with her lack of cooperation, not that she cared. "You'll regret this!"
"Nah, I know I won't." Having enough with this thing's stupidity, Amaris stands up, and begins to walk away. The noises of distress and frustration dies down the further she gets away from it. The static she hears in her head begins to clear.
...leaving her the ever fleeting feeling of freedom.
...and sympathy for the abomination that calls itself her "friend".
She looks back one more time.
"I know we're not friends. And I don't like you one bit.. I did actually, but things have changed. If you need someone. I'm always here, I won't tell anyone the secrets you told me, or the things you did, I promise." Amaris tells it. Before turning away once more. Shooting it a glare. "Just don't act like you're my friend. As far as I know, I only have one, and it's not you."
