    I gave up on my dream

    Yes, you read that, I gave up on my dream..... We all build castles in the air, sometimes overstepping the bounds of what can be real and what can't. I am one of those naive, soon reality gets you unprepared and it all comes crashing down. Those were the days when I was an innocent dreamer...untouched by the harsh reality.

    No more dreams, they say...get in line! they say, Give up, they say...
    But no more...no more giving up! I say...
    What if the reality is harsh? I shall adapt and survive!
    I shall go on and on...1 step at a time...1 brick at a time. I am my best self when I am invested in my craft, I say...
    Mistakes? failures? Oh, I wear them as badges.
    set aside my ego...it gave me nothing but insecurities.
    I shall go all guns blazing! when they come...
    I will go if I have to go but I will go down swinging...really hard, I say.

    A great man once said...

Year 2420.....40 years have passed since the end of World War 3. The world is now nowhere near to what it used to be. Fourteen safe zones were established all around the world, humanity's last refuge. The rest of the world has fallen to something worse than nuclear radiation and its fallout.
