Kit has never had much luck with love. She had always struck out on the rare occasion of a date and she would never get a kiss at the end of the night. At first, Kit thought it was her looks that made her so bad at love. But, after glamming up she would be lost. Then, she realized that it was her personality. She couldn't change her personality as well as she could change her looks. So, she gave up.

That was, until she met Nicholas. Nicholas kind of appeared out of nowhere and started appearing at her school, though he was never a student. There was something about him that drew Kit to him, but he advised against it. There was something about him that was dangerous, but that didn't stop Kit from falling in love with him.
