Arata Tachibana is misunderstood by everybody. He lives with his overprotective mom andafter the recent death of his dad, he and his mom relocate to Japan. Enrolling into a new school, Arata is treated as a foreigner because he used to live in Europe and has trouble keeping up with the Japanese language. Things don't get any better when after missing lunch on his first day of school, everybody thinks he has an eating disorder and is constantly sent to the nurse's office. Though, things start to let up when he hears about someone saving him who is in his class. Now the misunderstood Arata has to deal with bullies, judgments and misunderstandings all while trying to figure out who his savior is.
