In a remote part of the world there was a small village surrounded by trees. The occupants dared not enter the trees for it was rumoured to be the home of the beasts. They lived harmoniously among one another, never straying beyond the others borders.
The villagers had a nice piece of land that they used to their advantage. They raised fowl, sheep and cattle, and nurtured plots of land that provided bountiful harvests. The people were happy with their lives, they didn't need much.
Their houses were made of logs from trees that had been blown down by the strongest winds, and stones from the small quarry they had dug; with their small stone shovels and pickaxes. It was a respectable community, one where anyone could be happy, far removed from the rest of the world. 742Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡWD1x2veaIU
The beasts helped them keep their quiet life. No one ever ventured out from inside the woods. They were the protectors, and every full moon the villagers gave thanks by preparing copious amounts of raw meat and leaving it at the treeline.
But there was one villager who asked many questions and ventured closer to the border than anyone should. She asked about the beasts and dreamed of what lay on the other side of the woods.
She was abnormal within her community, a tiresome and troubled teenager that many of the village folk avoided, but it was her who was tasked with venturing into the unknown.
The village counsel had given her a mission of collecting a rare and ancient power. The power of rejuvenation and eternity. They wished to wield it and grow beyond their designated years, to rule the village for centuries to come.
The young woman was tasked with finding 'The Amber Flower of Elam' and with that her fate was sealed.ns 184.108.40.206da2
