“Brooklyn, wait. I’m sorry, it wasn’t right to force myself on you like that.” I say as I run after her.
She turns around, tear filled eyes.
“Your right it wasn’t, get away from me!” She yells.
“I’m sorry, but your just so beautiful.” I say apologetically.
“Thank you, but I have a boyfriend.” She says, but approaches me.
“Your right, I’m sorry.” I say and step back into my office. She follows me.
“I’m sorry, I’m confused. You yelled at me and told me to get away from you and now your following me.” I say
She walks in and I walk over and shut the door.
“I just want to talk, you seem like an interesting person.” She says.
“Okay, have a seat”
I walk over to my desk and sit on the edge as she sits in the chair. I’m hesitant as I ask her about her day.
“It was good, I really enjoyed working here until you physically harassed me just minutes ago.” She said sarcastically.
She’s got spunk, I like that.
“I’m glad you like it here, and again I’m really sorry for how I behaved.” I respond.
“Your right you should be sorry. You shouldn’t treat people the way you do.” She shouts.
“What do you mean by that, Brooklyn?” I question.
“I saw you yelling at that receptionist yesterday. She was very kind and you treated her very poorly. And call be Brooke if you insist on using my name.” She snaps.
“Okay, Brooke. I tend to have a temper, but you have to know that what you saw yesterday was not my usual attitude.” I defend myself.
“I sure hope not, Mr. President.”
“Mr. President? Your getting formal on me are you? After the way you just yelled at me, I would expect nothing of the sort.” I say laughing.
She stands to leave and I grab her by her arm and pull her to me. She has made it clear that she wants has no interest in me, but her body tells a different story as she leans into my kiss. She kisses me back, but only for a few seconds before she pulls away, slaps me, curses at me and walks out all in under a minute. I like this girl.
