"Your cousin is staying over so clean up your room before he comes over." My ma said. 

I hate my cousin, he's so spoiled! What he wants he gets, what he don't get, he gets!!!

"Why is he coming?!" I questioned to her, raising my voice was a bad idea. 

"Yell at me one more time Caleb and see what is going to happen to your ass."

"Sorry. So why is he coming?" 

"Family issues."

"Aren't I family too?"

"Yeah but it's non of your damn business."

"No wonder I have a bad attitude." I said under my breath. 

"The fuck did you just say?!"

"Ma I didn't say anything."

"You better not have."

I cleaned up like I was suppose too. And laid in my bed watching tv. 

A little while later the door bell rang. And it kept ringing and ringing and ringing. It it didn't stop until I opened the door. 

"Hey Caleb!" My cousin yelled. 

"Hey Isaiah." I responded in a monotone voice.

He walked in and I closed the door. He immediately walked into the kitchen and got a bag of chips. 

"Hey bruh you want one?" He asked me. Why would he ask? I live here. I can get one when ever I want. 

"No thank you. I can get one when I want one."

"Okay, your lost. Hey let's go shoot some hoops." He said to me. Opening the bag and taking a chip out. 

"No I want to go to my room. And play some games on the Xbox."

"You're no fun at all. Come on, I'll go easy on you. Because if I didn't then I will beast on you. Because I am the best basketball player that is out there." He bragged. I've seen him play and he is not good at all. And the only reason he made the basketball team was because of his ma.

I'm going to say this straight up okay? I suck at basketball. It's the second most stupidest game ever. Oh let me run to this side and throw a ball into a hoop and I'll give you the ball so you can try it too. The dumb ass that created this game. . . Shit! He's already dead. 

I love my room, I hate the outdoors. Why can't my mom just accept it? Better me staying inside than to get a chick prego. Or to get addicted to meth or cocaine. But nooo! 

She wants me to play sports and get good grades on my report card. 

Bitch! I'm dumb as fuck! And you gave me those traits! Look I can give you a C but that is all I can pull out of my ass!!!

"You can't walk with the ball you have to dribble it!" He said laughing. "That is basic basketball right there!"

"Cut me some slack! I don't want to do this!" I responded hastily.

"This is a family of ballers man! Let me help you."

I rolled my eyes as he proceeded to walk towards me. He got behind me, and went around my wast as he bounced the ball in front of me. I pushed him away, and he came back around my wast. 

"Get off!" I yelled trying to free myself. 

"I'm teaching you how to dribble."

"Well then don't be all over me like that!"

"Hey, where just like Jack and Rose. I'll never let you go Caleb!"

"Stop fuckin' playin'! It ain't funny." I elbowed him in the stomach and went inside. 

Isaiah followed me into the house. "What's your problem? I'm just having fun with my cousin."

"Well cousins don't touch all over each other. That's incest!" I went to my room and slam the door, locking it. 

Isaiah knocked on the door. "Caleb?" He knocked again. "Caleb? I was just trying to help, and add some humor into it."

I got up, unlocked the door, and sat back down. 

"Caleb?"

"It's unlocked!" I yelled. "Dumbass." I said under my breath. 

He came in and plopped beside me on my bed. "Do you want to do something else."

"Yeah, play my video games on my own. . . Alone!" I answered. 

"Don't be like that." He told me. Taking the game controller out of my hand. "I love you, you love me, were a happy family!" He sung as he laid his head on my thigh. 

"What is wrong with you? Do you have problems that I don't know about?" I grabbed his hair and pulled him away from me. 

"I gotta use the bathroom." He told me. I couldn't see his face. But I could tell that I upset him. But I don't care. It's his fault for acting sweet.

"Caleb! Isaiah! The pizza is here!" My ma called out. 

When I heard my ma. I pushed Isaiah out of the way, knocking him on the floor. And ran to the kitchen. I quickly picked the largest slices and poured me some soda. I walked back to my room to see Isaiah still on the floor, looking straight at me. 

"Are you going to apologize?" He asked me. 

"Um. . . Na" I responded. Sitting on my bed, taking a bite of my pizza. 

"Okay, I understand." His stupid self walked to the kitchen.

He was in there awhile to where I ate all my slices and my glass was empty. I went to go put my plate into the sink. 

"Oh hey." Isaiah said.

"Why are you in the kitchen?"

"I thought you wanted to be by yourself so I'm giving you some space."

I sighed. "Come back to my room."

"Really?!"

"Do you want me to change my mind?"

"No no no." You don't have to do that."

We both walked back to my room and watched tv. 

"I like him." I laughed. 

"Why?! He's the funniest." He pointed to the guy beside the one I like. 

We were watching a movie to relax the tension that was between us all day. I think we can get along if he doesn't talk. . . At all. 

You know. Just, let me do all the talking.

It was really late at night. And it's the worse if Isaiah stays up till this time. Because he talks nonsense and he laughs like a person on drugs. I know everyone has their flaws. But this is the worse flaw anyone could have. 

The last time he stayed here over night. He stayed up with me to watch a movie marathon and it was non stop laughing and talking about how he had rode a monkey that was bigger than a t-Rex. Now. Does that make any sense to you? No? I didn't think so. 

"Hey, hey. Guess what? He asked. 

"What?"

"You won't believe it but it's true."

"Just tell me what it is!"

"I love you."

Bruh you gotta be fucking kidding me! Why did he say that?! He started to get close to me. "Bitch you better back the hell up."

"But I'm telling you my feelings."

"Back up now!"

"I know we are cousins! But I can't help it! That's why I try to impress you with my basketball skills. Why didn't you like when I put my arms around you?" He started to chock up. "You be my Rose to my Jake please?!"

Man this bitch is crazy! This is my own room and I want to get the hell out. I'm so nervous. 

"We can talk about this tomorrow okay? Now let's go to sleep." I tried to end this weird conversation. 

"We can?" 

"Yes now goodnight."

He forced a kiss on my lips. "Goodnight."

I slapped him in the back of his head. "Fuck off!"

He didn't even move an inch when I slapped him.

I got up early than I usually do, so I went outside to avoid Isaiah. I took my phone out with me. It was quiet and the air was chilly. 

I was outside for a while. And it was getting cold. I didn't want to go back inside so I sucked it up and became a man. 

"Why are you out here?" Isaiah asked. A while latter. 

"Did you know what you said last night?"

"No." He paused. "Oh god what did I say?!" 

"That you love me. Please say you were speaking nonsense?"

"Yeah of course I was. Ha ha! You know me."

"This can't be happening."

"What?!"

"You are a bad lier! I can see right through you. Oh god you're incest and you're gay?! Yeah um. What do you be doing while I'm sleeping?!"

"Nothing I swear!"

"The hell are you two yelling this early I the damn mornin' fo'?!" My ma yelled. 

"Were seeing who is the best." Isaiah blurted out. 

"About what?"

"Uh. . . Ha ha!"

I hit my face. 

"I can tell that you are lying. Even if you are not my child I will beat your ass." My ma responded to Isaiah lie. 

She when back into the house and I wouldn't take my eye away from the door. 

"Look. I know it's wrong but I can't help it. I tried to look the other way and look for a chick to dig but my attention keeps going to you. I keep trying to impress you. But to be honest. I can't do shit. Basketball, not my thing. Video games not my thing. And being social is not my thing."

I finally took my eyes from the door and looked at him. I mean my cousin is attractive but I'm not going to like like him. "I know that you suck at everything. 

"I'm serious."

"I know you are but what am I suppose to do?"

"I want you to date me. Or just acknowledge my feelings."

"Okay no. And I do acknowledge your feelings."

"No you do not! Please? Let's settle this over basketball. I win you date me. You win. . . I will never ask you again. And I will tell my ma that I don't want to stay over to this house anymore. Deal?"

"Deal."
