There is a moment, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAYcevOUkIO2
A split second, 727Please respect copyright.PENANACOjU0fTc5g
Between birth, 727Please respect copyright.PENANA7A1PWCdrC9
And death, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAqFFoBthbEN
That is called life.
Everything you have ever done, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAYWWSePTOOk
Everyone you have ever loved, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAzfPOmr6y3c
Everything, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAV8fZBoogf0
Occurred in that moment.
Whether it be, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAWR0K3St37v
One year, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAHpUOGXpkcS
Ten years, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAxRaUCyJVeQ
Fifty years, 727Please respect copyright.PENANA7ZxnnvUuxi
Or a hundred,
It was only a moment. 727Please respect copyright.PENANATT7yGFQHVk
But though that may be, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAv7f2WPY7J2
The nature of mortality, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAjBj9fYvDdE
There is more to life, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAgOWW4EkoRj
Than death.
And though that might seem empty, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAyNRkLdh9DJ
Know that all life, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAiSeAPNVtWc
Exists the same, 727Please respect copyright.PENANALSSxWNliFs
Ends the same.
So live your life, 727Please respect copyright.PENANAVKnH9frRN2
Because only you can live your moment.
The Nature of Mortality was inspired by that line in Interstellar (2014) where Matt Damon screams, "There is a moment-" and is imploded by incorrectly attaching an airlock. After all the jokes about the "genius astronaut who couldn't operate an airlock properly," I wrote the line on a piece of paper and stared at it for five minutes. And at the end of the five minutes, this happened. I hoped you liked it, despite the implications of it.
