Introduction

Right when Drako Yau, the chairman and game designer of a game company, is about to release the open beta of the game which he has been developing for years, things go awry. Another company suddenly launches a game which can be played using the brainwave technology, Real World. The map, background, game mechanics, and many more; everything is almost identical to the game he has designed.

Out of curiosity and bitterness, he enters the game, only to find that he cannot log out of it. He has to struggle in what seems to be a game, with his life on the line.

The skill book's description makes it sound terrible but in practice, doesn't it make the target basically immortal? Like the only negative part is the pain that will accompany the player throughout its activation but can't that be negated by setting the pain perception to zero?

How is the legendary sword that can't be traded, dropped, or stolen being in someone else's hands not a direct confirmation that tigeroar deleted his account to them?

I'm kind of glad this part is over, the pacing of this section seemed off to me. It took over 20 chapters to go through three waves of fighting. I'm all about the fight scenes in the novel, but it's usually broken up better, so it's not just 20 chapters of straight fighting.

This whole LoTR bit seems way too forced. Like, it's two chapters of lotr exposition, just to say he got trapped in a place no ones gotten out of.

During the first half of the explanation, I thought MC was going to be able to pick any class during each progression, which would've been cool to be able to mix class features. I guess it's just one and done though, at peast godly spear master doesn't seem like too bad of a class.

No wonder most players gave up fire brand, a spell that takes a bunch of mana and only gives a five second buff.

I'm still confused why MC put so many skill points into +1% spear damage instead of +10% basic attack damage when all his attacks are basic attacks.

Finally an enemy that doesn't default to 'I'm upset, must destroy', but also why would a game have a hidden pugilist class, but then allow every player to have their weapon stats affect their punches and kicks?

And there goes the third rate line of 'if he won't join me, I'll destroy him'

Did he yell 'Nooo!'? Or was he utterly silent? You can't do both.

I'm starting to like Yip Kusing haha

I hope he can get some active skills now.
Or maybe he can make his own skill. That would be cool
