Birthday or deathday? A man is stabbed to death when the lights go out during a birthday celebration. And Paul, Adrian's friends, stands accused of the murder. Adrian knows Paul is incapable of such a cold-hearted deed but how will he prove it?
Third in the series of cases involving Adrian.
This is the fourth story that I wrote involving Adrian and was supposed to be the fourth in the series. However, the actual third story is as of yet still incomplete. So, this shall be the third in the series for now.
Travis always wanted to try his hand at writing a novel. He had tried to write a couple, but never felt motivated enough to finish them.
By a chance encounter, he comes to know of a writing contest called NaNoWriMo, where participants have to write a novel in one month. Thinking that the deadline (and the fact that it is a contest) will motivate him to write a complete novel, he decides to sign up.
Will Travis be able to complete his novel this time around? And what adventures await him on his journey?
Probably the only novel on NanoWriMo that you'll (n)ever read.
As most of you must have guessed, I got this idea while thinking to come up with a theme for my NaNoWriMo 2016 entry.
This story was originally created back in 2008 and 2010. It began being revised as of 2015 I believe it was. The story follows our main lead as she tries to save what she holds dear. There is magic, mystery and even some Gods and Goddesses. There are some scenes of fighting and in further chapters, should I post them here, may have one or two words that could bring me to raise a warning at the start.
The story takes place in my realm of Aphelia which boarders our realm. Due to this, Aphelia residents do have technology that matches our modern conveniences. There are 9 regions in Aphelia and this story takes place in region 3.
I hope you all enjoy.
What are you hiding?
Emma has no family. That’s why she’s being adopted.
She is a beautiful child, a perfect child. How could anybody not want her?
What have you done?
Because there’s nothing wrong with her, surely. Or at least that’s what you keep telling yourself.
It's just easier if I don't tell you… And you'll do what I say or else you'll get hurt.
And she’s only a child. Only a seven-year-old child. So, she’s not going to do anything seriously bad. Of course she isn’t.
How do you solve a case where the death occurred twenty storey high inside a locked room where the only ways of escape are a window that leads to a fall straight down to the ground with no ledges or fire-escapes, and a door that was locked from the inside?
How do you do it when you don't even know howthe victim was killed?
1st in the series of cases solved by Adrian.
This is my very first detective story that I wrote in 2012. I had published this earlier here at Penana but had removed it. So, here it is again.
The story is 6 chapters long and already completed. I'll upload a chapter a day for the next 5 days. Hope you readers like it. :)
