I've said this on my Twitter already but I'm taking more time off from uploading & writing content for Penana. I'm applying a lot more focus to Ravenlight now that beta-readers (which I still need) are responding. Also, it's gardening season. I might take time off till August to build a surplus in my free time. By then the bulk of the gardening work SHOULD be done, Ravenlight should be ready and/or submitted, and free time should just be a thing for me.
Terribly sorry for disappearing again BUUUUUUUUUUT an online event has begun where people in the industry relay TONS of information. I'm taking such notes. I've acquired more beta-readers as well. So these 2 together are going to lead to me editing Ravenlight considerably. Meanwhile I need to perfect my pitch & my query.
I'm not positive when I'll return back to updating but I will do what I can.
I am still seeking #BetaReaders
for a YA Fantasy novel of 89k words. Looking to hear some form of
feedback no later than the first week or so of May or at least close to
"Elise is an outcast who desires the approval of her people despite
their ways going against her beliefs; though that all changes when an
ancient empire from another world returns to retake power and enslave
humanity, darkening her life and her people in the process."
No Sins of Fate chapter today. Next week's content is questionable. I've
begun to look at my '2019' uploads as a rush job in itself. Yes the
plot is there and I have the time to write BUT I'm basically forcing
myself to complete an arc in a given timespan of maybe 30 chapters.
As such I am going to re-evaluate everything I have so far and plan out
differently. Go the manga route where an arc itself is the volume, not
the given year. I think that'll work great and give me even more energy
to write. Plus I can take weeks off if I so desire. Woo!!
