"I've been writing for five years now," I say, leaning back into my chair whilst retaining my terrible postural habits and taking a sip of my disgustingly plain water. "And I still don't know squat, y'know."
Welcome to the place where I ramble on about things that I heard here and there, dropping writing tips and tricks that work for me and also some tips and tricks that don't. Plus, I'll be flaunting my near-forgotten computer science GCSE as I pretend to know what I'm talking about whilst guiding you through computery things. (Don't worry, I'm starting basic.)
To tell the truth, I'm a terrible teacher. But I'll be trying my best.
NOTE! As with most crafts, I still have a way to go. If you think I'm wrong about something, I probably am - so please feel free to correct me where necessary. I will continue to update as required from this end as well.
As it says in the title, I intend to start posting here again. Who knows how long it'll take? I'm working on four stories right now and none of them are over halfway done so this could take a while.
Welcome to my little blog of sorts to document how things are going these days.
It came to me in a dream - literally.
I mean it. Like... Literally. And being the writer I am, I had to document it!!
It's based on one of my worst nightmares... Which may or may not have been inspired by real life. (I don't know. Dreams, like love, work in mysterious ways...)
Actually, it'sbasedon the dream. I made up some parts to make it seem more like a story.
(Contrary to what you might already be thinking, this is not going to be an LGBT story with a gay couple in it.)
Well, that was because the title used to be "The House with Two Fathers". That title summed the story up in a nutshell, but it was a bit... lacking spice. A bit boring... it didn't seem right. So I changed it. I hope you like it.
Are you clueless as to what I'm going on about? You probably are. I'll stop droning on now, so you can just read the story for yourself. :)
P.S. I might change it again depending on the mood I'm feeling in. But I quite like this one.
P.P.S. Read the age rating, people. May contain lots of blood, brutal combat/other pretty violent stuff that may or may not involve a wooden cane.
I do not own the image used in the cover.
Imagine a life of nothing but nightmares - everywhere you go and everything you see brings back terrible moments from the past.
Sometimes the people that seem the happiest are, in fact, the most depressed inside.
After all; the biggest smiles are the ones that hide the most pain.
Clara is an ordinary girl - or, at least, she thought so.
Until she found out the truth about her past; the truth that was hidden from her for her entire life.
Now she is tasked to save the world - from her best friend.
She must follow in the footsteps of her father and fulfill her destiny to save the world again.
She is the girl who has enough power to either save the world - or destroy it...
Includes the song 'Only My Railgun', which belongs to the owners of FripSide.Update from 2020: the me from four years ago really had a compelling intro down, I see.The song was inspiration for the main character. I also don't own the cover photo.
This is my first published romance story, which I was willing to reattempt after a previous (epic) fail. I am also trying to incorporate some humour.
If this all goes horribly wrong you, as the reader, have the right to stop reading.
Just remember that, sit back and enjoy!Update from 2020: four years on and I still can't for the life of me write romances, but what a first attempt... I do not own the art used for this cover, I merely drew inspiration from it. This is Inazuma Eleven fanart of Kidou/Jude, Otonashi/Celia and Gouenji/Axel. I can't find the artist currently.
Hello, and welcome to my new (at time of making) story!
Before we start, please bear in mind this is the sequel to James Starling, Angel Childso if you want more info on James' backstory, that's where to go!
I know that I'll always say this at the beginnings of my stories, but please enjoy, comment (preferably on my grammar, language etc. ) and check out my other stories!
Update from 2020: it's been four years since I created James and oh boy did he turn to the dark side.I do not own the image used for the cover; it's a screenshot from the Inazuma Eleven anime of Afuro/Aphrodi/Byron.
Mark is quiet, calm, shy and smart.
Cassidy, on the other hand, is a lot more excitable and... loud.
Nonetheless, despite their differences, they are best friends.
But then something peculiar happens.
Something that turns their worlds upside-down.
Something that changes their lives forever...
Update from 2020: ahI do not own the image used in this cover. It's a screenshot of the Inazuma Eleven anime of Hiroto/Xavier and Midorikawa/Jordan.
If you're reading this, chances are you'll know who I am.
I'm the writer of this story, so by 'I', I mean ME, the writer, not the character.
The character comes next.
This is a new story (at the time of writing) and I hope you'll enjoy it.
Update from 2020: Did this series even have a destination?I do not own the art used for this cover. This is fanart of Aphrodi/Afuro/Byron from Inazuma Eleven; I based James' angelic appearance on him. I don't currently know the artist.
Just before you start, I strongly recommend you read the pre-sequel to this story, Killer Computers.
If you don't want to give away the plot, go and read that one first!
(Author's note: The story begins by the Grand Canyon, Arizona. The story is set in real places but any legends I will have made up unless specifically mentioned at the end.)
Hi! This is my first story here, and I'm still getting the hang of it, so wish me luck!
(Also please note the autocorrect on this device doesn't function properly so be prepared for a few weird mistakes.)I do not own the image used on the cover.
Here we go!
My name is Reese Fletcher. I'm a sort of geeky person - computers, phones, tvs, you name it; I can fix it, and give you an annoying geeky joke about it.
I tend to get A's and A*'s an all my tests, and my social life is pretty good (more like barely adequate), so you could say my life is dangerously close to perfect.
But then something happened, a couple of months ago, that changed my life forever.
That's exactly why you need to read this. Your very existence depends on it. So if you want the chance to live 'till your next birthday, DO NOT STOP READING.
Exactly what the title says. Over time, I will post one hundred-thousand things to do when you're bored. Fifty things a day. Do them if you want to, or just read them and laugh your head off at the funny stuff. Enjoy.
