Clothed in a long black hooded coat a young twenty-three-year-old woman jumped from rooftops to rooftops. Her lean body allowed her to move with great flexibility. Her hair swung gently as the gusty night wind blew on. Her face was covered by a mask allowing one to only catch a glimpse of her cold hazel eyes.
Finally, she stopped and laid on the roof. She set up her sniper rifle and through the scope glanced at her target, a gruff looking man with greed written all over his face. Even without knowing the man, one could tell he was a criminal just by his looks, his devious smile that remained plastered on his face. Next to him was a young man probably his customer.
"Okay...A drug dealer...that's him alright. Now, Jeff, it's time to say goodbye, It was nice knowing you." Sage spatted coldly before pulling the trigger.
The bullet flew in the air towards Jeff's heart but at the same time, another bullet from the left was shot.
What?!
The two bullets collided causing them to fall simultaneously on the ground.
Sage enraged turned to see the jerk face that ruined her great shot. It was no surprise that it was Ram. He was waving, a smile plastered in his damn good looking face. If only he knew it would no longer be his face but a punching bag for Sage's fist.
Soon Jeff and the boy were fleeing.
Just great!
"Sorry, you know I get clumsy sometimes." Ram 'apologized'.
"Yeah, you were clumsy, not trying to get in my way as usual." Sage rolled her eyes. Ram was her colleague, her rival.
"Now, now, don't be so down, My lady, If I kill Jeff, would you at least let me take you out on a date?"
"We'll see." Sage challenged before setting off to find Jeff.
After some time, she spotted Jeff, this time alone, entering a hotel.
"I guess I won't have to use a riffle here." Sage quickly removed her cloak to reveal a perhaps too fancy dress.
"Wait...Is this really okay?" Sage glanced at herself before walking gracefully through the hotel doors. Luckily, she had gathered all information on Jeff and knew that he stayed in the hotel. Now all she needed was to get close enough to kill him with her hidden dagger. The dagger was small enough to fit perfectly in her hair and it would be almost impossible to notice it.
Sage approached the receptionist and asked for her room key. Thankfully, Damien, her boss had booked a room just next to Jeff's.
After leaving the reception she walked into a corridor and was astounded by the sight. At the front of Jeff's room stood Ram and around him laid two dead bodyguards.
"Oh, Wow you knew I would win so you prepared for our date in advance?" Ram enunciated a grin spreading across his face.
"I am sorry to disappoint but tonight, I am on a date with Jeff." Sage winked as she walked passed Ram and into Jeff's room leaving Ram more pleased.
"Who might you be?" the gruff looking man, Jeff, asked a newspaper in hand. The room was as big as an actual house you'd be surprised that he lived alone.
"Excuse me? What do you mean? Didn't you call me up to pick up...the important things?" Sage replied with a whisper at the end.
"Oh...uh...Yes, I'll get right on it!" With that, he rushed to who knows where to get who knows what.
"So...what have you been up to?" Sage inquired as the man returned with a box.
"Oh, nothing. Just, business. I was thinking--" Before the man had time to continue he collapsed suddenly.
Through the window, Ram jumped in a silencer in his hand.
"What the heck Ram?"
"What? You were boring me with your talking!"
"But he was my target! I was supposed to kill him!" Sage retorted
"Guess what we are going on that date after all!" Ram added with a smile ignoring the angry Sage.
"You wish. Now let's get out of here!" Sage suggested.
"Hey, don't you want to find out what is in the box?" Ram asked.
"I am sure it's poison or a gun or a knife--"
"Or your picture." Ram cut her off. He had already opened the box.
"What?" Sage snatched the picture. Indeed it was a picture of her. Why would a drug dealer have her picture?
She turned the picture to see an address.
"Hey, don't tell Damien about this." Sage conveyed as she kept the picture in her pocket.
"Tell Damien? Do you think I want to die? He probably doesn't care."
"Whatever." Sage said before she 'flew' out the window.
