It has been two weeks since the successful "birth" of the Homunculus, and two weeks since the start of the Shimabara Rebellion. Shirou has congratulated me on creating such a remarkable being, even though I keep secret that this was known at the price of thievery I had done during my time and research in China. Even so, even I have to admit that I didn't expect this Homunculus to be... mesmerizing. In two weeks, it had gotten a hold of powerful magecraft and spells, while still holding an innocent soul and mind.
The surrogate mother, Megumi, decided to name it Iori. I had tried to reason with her that it didn't need a name, but she insisted. "Even if it's not like a regular child, it still needs to be named; that much should be known." Homunculus are beings who do not age and are created right there and then on how the creator sees fit: it can be a child, teenager, or young adult; the results are all the same.
'Iori...' The name means 'the one that weaves'. She also gave it another name to go with Iori, 'Sadatsugu', which means 'following purification'. Iori is indeed an extraordinary Homunculus, its basis of magecraft seeped into the Einzbern's but it cares less about that and more on the here and now. Recently, I've also taught a young boy some Western magecraft. Iori often asks if it could meet the boy, but I always give a no. If word gets out, it would be too late to stomp on them before it reaches to the Mage's Association. Patience is key...
