The year is 1947 in Brooklyn, and PI Ray Allison is on the case when he is hired by Gwen Sanford to look into the death of a high profile millionaire and weapon manufacturer with shady connections, her father, Stephen Sanford, who suddenly died in a bizarre car crash which is quickly written off as a suicide. The case will prove to be anything but straightforward however. A dearth of direct evidence and a parade of suspects with possible reasons to kill promises to complicate Allison’s investigation. Furthermore, his involvement with Gwen and the alluring stranger, Vera Walters, may just prove his undoing…

(You might be confused with the switch between poetry and prose and I apologize T_T I have no plans of sticking to one of them. This story has come as a way for me to unwind, reassure, or get ready for longer writing sprints.)

At 18 a goddess chooses your one and only mate, but what happens if who she chooses is forbidden by ancient laws?

"Shh- I don't wanna talk," Dream shushed the brunette, smiling as he held him in his arms, "I just wanna dance; enjoy the moment," The two danced together as they waited for Sapnap to get home. What would happen if Sapnap walked in on the two "claimed to be platonic" best friends dancing together? Dream could only imagine the comments he'd get from his friend. George relished the idea of it. He knew he'd surely be embarrassed and would deny any claimed feelings thrown at him, but he'd enjoy it. He'd enjoy it because him and Dream wouldn't be the only two that knew there was definitely something going on between the two, and that made the brunette ecstatic.

Citrus was a normal girl until days before her 14th birthday. She was kidnapped and experimented on by crazy scientists who gave her wings ears and a tail. How will Citra deal with the tremendous power given to her. Follow her on the journey of a lifetime.

A weary father at the end of his rope, struggling to protect his thirteen year old daughter and eleven year old son, leads his family home through a collapsing and lawless civilization.  Death has taken its toll.  Those that remain grapple to put the pieces back together or take what's left for themselves.

This is a work in progress.  It's unedited and unplanned, with no outline or idea as to where it is going. I’ll probably continue post additions/revisions from time to time.   Follow along if you're interested, intrigued or simply amused.  I'm new at this and welcome comments and suggestions; the good, the bad and the ugly.  Criticisms, grammatical corrections, plot suggestions, character revisions, praise and marriage proposals will all be given proper consideration.
