In the fantasy kingdom of Eldom, terror has struck. The royal family has been the target of a series of attempted and successful assassinations. Crown Prince Amir has been killed in cold blood by the group known as ECL; Eldom’s Common Liberators. Now, the children of the crown have come back to fight for their lives. As warriors. The Powers. Otherwise known as the highborns are the people born with special abilities. The Powers are staples of the upper class, born into luxury and prestige. If a Power was born among the lesserborns, they’d be taken, and promptly raised and trained by the upper class, never to return to their old lives or families. The Crown believe they can find all of the Lesser Powers, but some slip right through their fingers.

Now, Aliyah has to practically become her brother, and deal with assassination attempts on her and her family.

Dominique Blair, the head of the ECL, is a 19-year-old on the path of revenge and liberty. She always gets what she wants and she is quite the prosperous manipulator. Dominique is a protective, but deadly person, who holds those she cares about close to her. If anyone even thought about hurting someone she cares about, they’d be dead in minutes.

Among the five princesses of Kinguin, four are known, one is forgotten. Hence, the magistrate (Ober Vanderhawk) set his moment on the coming traditional festival. Aiming to give the princesses a chance to take the podium and be recognized for the title of Mayfairy.

A long time ago, there was a planet on the surface of which a real living Heart was beating. Each of its beat gave life to many wonderful creatures, and humans were no exception. Once, during a mountain collapse, they became afraid that something might happen to the Heart, and built a fence around it. And they started arguing about who is the worthiest defender of the Heart. The fence turned into a wall, and the city rose very quickly around it. Everything that people came up with was immediately brought to life by the love of the Heart. So, they created dolls to help themselves, which significantly accelerated the construction. In the time that was freed up, people took up the war. One day they closed the Heart completely, erecting a dome over it. Miracles stopped happening, and the dolls stopped coming to life. People blamed magical creatures for this and began hunting them. And in order not to stop the construction, they began to chip off pieces of the Heart and insert them into their mechanisms. The city continued to grow. Centuries have passed. The city has propped up the sky with towers. Only fragments of the Heart remained, saturating the black smoke with its breath. Factories that produce nightmarish monsters fed on it. With their help, people continue to wage war with each other for the title of the worthiest defender of the Heart. While it is dying. This is where our story begins...

I've been writing science fiction for a number of years now, but I noticed that the books I'd started reading were mostly fantasy. Time to switch and write my other favourite genre. I love magic and psychic abilities, so I've included both.

Maddie can see ghosts and for that she is sent to a mental institution. Maddie Johnson is sent to a mental institution because she talks to people who aren’t there. She insists that they’re ghosts. Just as she thinks she’s convinced the doctors that she is fine now, a dark-haired ghost with dreamy brown eyes rushes in and ruins everything.

She is sent to a halfway house that helps people with mental illness assimilate back into society. But then she hurts someone using magic she didn’t know she possessed. Now she has a new problem. She will have to learn to control her magic.

She discovers that the town has secrets of its own and there are people going missing. How far are people willing to go to destroy what they are afraid of? Maddie and her handsome spirit might just find out first-hand.

Our story begins in a wonderful and idyllic kingdom spanning quite the large distance. Here, it is always Spring and auspicious events for magic occur multiple times a month- meaning that magic users, and by extension the kingdom, thrive. But an evil sorcerer residing high on a mountain decides to cast a curse on the kingdom, throwing one half into blistering heat and the other into freezing cold.The Witch, at the request of another, had previously locked her daughter high in a stone tower. She must confront this threat, but as she cannot leave her daughter alone, the Witch brings her daughter the Maiden along on the journey.

It's been 7 Years since the end of the Chaos Wars, an era in which conflict was all around the galaxy & across the various realms of the multiverse. With the Death of Zero Dantez and the collapse of the Demon Armies, some manner of peace has washed over humanity; though not all is as it once was. The Chaos Wars have left countless civilizations in ruin, and no major organization of the past remains in power. For these last few years humanity has been rebuilding, and with the passage of time things are about to go full circle.

After generations, people have returned to the Realm of Aether- known for the Home Lands which have long since been lost. And it is here where conflicts echoing the past shall resume once more as people strive for positions of authority following the left-open power vacuum. Project Home Bound is a Community Series with multiple writers. You might think of it as group DnD only with a lot more writing and fewer 'game' mechanics.
