Just wanted to make a small post here to say Happy Birthday to my friend Cheeto, wishing them another year of good times and productive writing :)
Looking back, Cheeto was actually the first "fan" I ever had. Way back, I had the odd reader or two and a few "likes", but it was when I was in the middle of releasing Hide and Seek, my 2nd novella, that I met Cheeto.
They left a really supportive comment on my most recent chapter, along with some much-needed punctuation advice, and from then on were quick to read and like my chapters as soon as they came out each week, and even went on to go back and read my older works (even my much-older and much-cringier stuff). Needless to say, this was a huge boost to my morale, and I just want to say how much I appreciated (and still appreciate) them.
You rock Cheeto, I hope this next year absolutely knocks the socks off last year.
