I did end up making a cake! I'm eating an unhealthy amount of cakemix as I'm writing this. If you didn't see my last post, it was only like 20 mins ago and it was just me complaining about how I don't have any cake.
Disclaimer: I am by no means a professional baker. In fact, I would describe myself as an UNprofessional baker, who kinda sucks at it but really likes to eat the stuff I make.
Henceforth I would like to share with you my interpretationsof measurements (this is probably the reason I suck at baking, I don't follow the recipes):
One tablespoon of cocoa powder = approximately two or one and a half tablespoons (you just kinda shove a lot in)
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla = just put a splash in, can't go wrong (unless you do)
100 grams = anything within 10 grams is just fine, unless you're in a precise mood in which case nothing but exactly 100 will do.
4 eggs = not much room for improvising here
any amount of sugar = double it. kidding! mostly...

Also, the scales we have only does even numbers for some reason? Is that normal? it is a very old set of scales; I remember using it to make cakes with my mum when I was suuuuper little.
How many times have I posted about cake on here? probably a lot, and there will probably be more... I want to hit 'publish' but if I wait until the cake is done then I can tell you if it was good or not
aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I should probably go back and change my 'i's to 'I's while I wait.
nope bored just gonna post.

EDIT hey, I just remembered Americans exist! I don't know how much a cup is, or why you would need to fill it with flour, so you might just have to guess how much a gram is! Thanks!
EXTRA EDIT i ate the cake! i actually got my whole family to eat cake, it was very nice!
