.My cousins came over yesterday! They (girls, 6 and 7) were absolutely flabbergasted, amazed, awe-struck by... my calculator. The things we take for granted... These kids were amazed by the fact that it could do maths FOR them and spent ages trying to make the biggest numbers they possibly could. I showed them how to write things upside down! They had never come across a calculator before somehow- I don't think - as they aren't allowed/needed in their primary school and are obviously not needed at home. Maybe it was just because it was a scientific calculator, I don't know.
