He's too good-looking to be a man.
The mistress of the Opiana family had always wanted a girl for a child, but she kept bearing sons after sons. Until one day, she gave birth to a boy who looked like an angel. She had been eager to nurture him as the household's mistress since then, dressing him in girls' attire and even giving him a girl's name. But Judy, as the mother affectionately named him, has another plan in mind. Whose dream will come true?
Finally reunited, the children of the prophecy are now at the threshold of the most dangerous point in their journey. They have made it to the shores of Dueglestein, crawling with soldiers who are ready to capture them and take them to whoever is behind all of this.
With Skylar back with the crew, they can finally rest easier with a friend back together. But this is only the beginning. Little do the children know that they are being hunted. Everywhere they go now will be filled with soldiers searching and wanted posters placed at every corner to find them.
Will the Six complete their quest without being caught? Or will they finally fall into the clutches of the Dueglesteiners?
Time to get into the Christmas spirit and welcome the holiday season with twelve short stories based on keywords we associate with this time of year.
|OLDER DRAFT · NOVELLA VERSION COMING SOON!|
Lost in the depths of the Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park, Ranger Kates meets a mysterious hermit who may very well have a connection with the decade-old legend of the Ghost of Ontario.
Ranger Kate wants only one thing: to see her son, whom she lost to a canoe accident ten years ago. The opportunity comes when she and her partner, Ranger Amelia, attend the 24-Hour Ghost of Ontario Challenge in the Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park. Legend has it that a ghost haunts it with his mysterious lullaby, "Lucilla", and the only way to connect with him is for two individuals to brave the lakes.
Ihaan never expected to find Ranger Kate on Red Squirrel Lake, said to be the birthplace of the ghost. He and his eagle friend, Ro, band together to win her trust, which is crucial for Ihaan's Guardian Trial. It's the only way for him to learn whether he is truly dead or not.
Fate turns to reality, and suddenly, the legend of the ghost is more real than Ihaan and Kate think. What will happen when the Spirit Animals come and try to interfere with their long-lost memories? Will Kate and Ihaan defeat them, or will they lose themselves to the hands of Ontario's Beast?
*Ihaan is pronounced "I-an".*
*Based on a canoeing trip I took with my family to Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park!*

"you think I let go because I never had feelings for you" Alex has always been a logical person but saying I never liked him is not reasonable "if you did, it wouldn't have been so easy to move on just because of toxic fans" I feel guilty about that and hearing it again is piercing my open wound
I'm the bad guy in my own story "you moved on with a public figure, what made you think the media can't hurt him but it can hurt me" my tears are already falling uncontrollably
This is making my heart ache become five times more painful "Alex, I'm so sorry, it won't do anything really but I also feel worst, Ga heul oppa just kind of happened" I sniffled "I feel toxic saying anything to you, no matter what I say I feel like I'm still at fault, I hated how you looked when the picture got online, you weren't the Alex I knew" I moved a little closer "I wish I hadn't run away then" I am already a sobbing mess "I wish I fought for what we had, I loved what we had" I hugged him
The world was murdered. The world will live again, will rise out from under its fetters. So will the people. In the meanwhile, the Yemars have magic. The Yemars have magic, and they have each other, and they have hope.
Destiny Myers was a lot of things, some called her a hero, some called her a fighter, some called her strong. A few called her big sister, one called her daughter, and one used to call her mother. That one had long since died and it was all her fault. It has been nearly ten years since that horrible day, and since than Destiny has locked herself away in her wonderful home that was made for more than one person. A home whose door would stay locked forever, until one day someone came banging on that door. A small child named Lola Summers.
And she needed help.
Lola Summer is a unique girl even for the old group of people across the world with jepei energy. She seems to hold seven different personalities inside of her small body, seven that can take control of her body based on the emotions she is feeling. Lola wants a lot of things, a safe home, a loving family, to never be a weapon that others want her to be. All of that seemed impossible until one day she woke up on Destiny's steps. And this odd woman took her in to protect her from another who wanted nothing more than to Destroy Lola and weaponize the other seven. They were strong, and she was weak.
Together, Lola and Destiny try to start a life together, to make new friends and strong allies. To try and be a family, but both seem to have one demon that won't stop chasing them. One that only wants what lies inside of Lola, she tried this once with Ruth. Destiny would never let her try this again,
She would rather die before that happened.
