Has there been a more overwhelming time for people to find a decent streaming service? In today’s digital world, there are dozens of streaming services that are making it quite difficult for the masses to choose the best one for their business.
If you are also one of those people, then this blog post is just for you.
Let’s begin.
Netflix
Netflix sets the standard for all the streaming services in the world. It works best with high-speed fiber internet service. It features a huge library of shows from diverse genres. Whether you love chick-flick movies, binge-worthy comedy shows, or a real tear-jerker, Netflix has it all.
However, after giving the world shows like Dark, House of Cards and Stranger Things, Netflix started to struggle with producing original shows as HBO Max and Amazon Prime have started to become competitive. Besides this simple setback, Netflix also offers compelling K-Drama, which is becoming quite popular among the masses.
Pricing starts at $6.99 per month with ads. The standard plan is $15.49 per month, and the Premium plan is $22.99 per month.
HBO Max
Before the streaming service pioneered by Netflix took the world by storm, there was only one premium cable TV, HBO. It produces some of the best shows of the modern era, including Six Feet Under, Oz, and Game of Thrones, to name a few.
The biggest benefit of HBO Max is that it offers all of these classic shows along with new ones, including True Detective, The Last of Us, and Chornobyl. Furthermore, HBO Max is a subsidiary of Warner Bros., so it features all of Warner Bros.'s animated movies, along with my favorite cartoon network and Studio Ghibli. To make the most out of HBO Max, you need to watch their content in 4K resolution powered by fiber internet service.
Pricing starts at $9.99 per month with ads, while the ads-free plan is at $15.99 per month.
Amazon Prime Video
Prime Video is new to the streaming service, but it’s making huge strides by offering a vast library of content. It also offers a diversity of genres, but it’s still not on par with the giants like HBO Max and Netflix. Some of the biggest shows Prime Video produced are The Boyz, Bosch, Reacher and The Lords of the Rings: Rings of Power.
Prime Video also features live sports as it has recently acquired to air Thursday Night Football games until 2033. Finally, it has one of the vast collections of classic movies, including 12 Angry Men, All That Heaven Allows, The Best Years of Our Lives, and The General, to name a few.
Pricing for an Amazon Prime subscription is $14.99 per month, while a Prime Video membership is $8.99 per month.
Conclusion
These are the top three streaming services in my eyes that have made a significant contribution to the world of home entertainment. If you want to look for decent entertainment and spend quality time with your family, I suggest you opt for any one of these streaming services.
