Mother POV:
I was walking with my children toward…I don’t know where. I just had to get them away from HIM. They wouldn’t stop asking me where they were going. We were currently in the snow biome. As we were getting to the edge I saw a light. A house. I turned to my kids. “None of you move till I get back. Rainbow come with me please.. No questions.” I turned away walking toward the light checking my pockets making sure I had the potions. I looked behind me making sure Rainbow was following me. As we got closer I started to get more and more scared. When we got to the doorstep I turned to Rainbow. I grabbed a note I had written a while ago and one of the potions. I put the note in Rainbow's hand and she looked confused. I kissed her head and whispered “I'm sorry..” I splashed the potion on her and she fainted. I knocked on the door and ran off as fast as I could. I saw the kids. I could tell they were worried because Rainbow wasn’t with me. They didn’t ask questions.

I heard a knock on my door. “Who could be here at this time of night..” I grumbled. I got up and walked to the door. I opened it. There was a girl. Pink hair. Looked fourteen. I went to grab her but I saw a note in her hand. I picked it up and opened it.

It seems you have found my oldest daughter Rainbow. She is 14. I have left her here because her father is abusive and I won't last much longer…. She won’t remember me or her name. She has 4 other siblings and she won’t remember them either. Please call her whatever you would like…. Just not her real name please. I read through the note over and over again. I guess I have a daughter now. I picked up the girl and put her on my couch. I read the note over once more then threw it in the fire. I watched it burn. Feeling bad for the girl and her family. I sat down at the end of the couch and began to read one of my books. I saw out of the corner of my eye that the girl started to move. She was awake. “What..What happened..?” I heard the girl whisper. I shut my book and looked at her. “You fell and hit your head.”I said looking at her. She had brown eyes. She rubbed her head. “Oh..” It was silent for a moment. “Um..what's my name again..? I think the fall made me forget. I'm sure once you tell me I will remember.” I nodded. “Your name's Betty.” She perked up immediately. “Oh yeah!” She smiled at me. I smiled back at her. I already really liked this kid. I was going to protect her. Like the mother said to do. I will protect her with my life.

When we got out of the snow biome the kids started to ask questions. “What about Rainbow?” “What happened?” “What did you do?” I turned to them. “Be quiet and do NOT say another word.” I growled at them. I saw their eyes widen. I had hurt their feelings. I didn’t have time to answer questions. I saw lights up ahead. It looked like a small city. The sign that was up ahead started to get bigger and bigger as we got closer. It read ‘Las Nevadas’’. I stopped right in front of the entrance. I told the kids to stay here and out of sight. I grabbed Gold and told her to follow me. She just nodded. I walked quickly. We arrived at a house. It was nice. I walked to the step and sighed. I did the exact same thing I did with Rainbow just with Gold. I knocked and ran away as fast as I could again. I ran past the kids signaling them to follow me. I ran towards the mountains. Seeing a light up there.

I sat there staring at the note. Not believing it. It was so sad. I felt terrible. I looked at the girl trying to think of a name. I threw the note into the fireplace. I watched it burn. She suddenly woke up. She sat up and looked at me. “Dad..?..” I stepped closer to her. “Yes Kim?” She was silent. ‘W-What happened..?” I thought for a moment. “You were playing outside and you tripped and you fell, hitting your head.” She nodded. It was silent. She stood up and walked towards me. Then she hugged me. I wasn’t expecting it so I stood there for a second not knowing what to do. Then I hugged her back and wrapped my wings around her.

Mother POV:
This was taking too long. I was in the mountains and I saw a little house. I could hear music coming from the outside. I told my kids to just stay there and not move. I grabbed Funneh and just dragged her along with me. We got to the doorstep and without any explanation I threw the potion on her and left the note. I knocked and ran. I needed to get this done faster. The sun was going to be up soon. I walked back to my last two exhausted kids. Telling them to follow me growing sadder with each kid I left behind.

Wilbur POV:
I was playing my guitar when I heard a knock on the door. I set my guitar down and got up. I walked to the door and opened it. There was a little girl there. She was so small. I looked around seeing if there was anyone around but didn't see anyone. I saw a note on the floor next to the girl.

Poor kid was only twelve and she had been left by her mother. I noticed the kid was twitching and whispering things. Poor kid was having a nightmare… Guess I'm a dad now. I picked up the kid carefully. She seemed lighter than I expected..Maybe her father didn’t let her or her siblings eat. I set her down and threw the note into the fireplace. I turned to look at her when she shot up screaming. I jumped. “Oh my god are you ok?” I said walking over to her. “There were figures chasing me…People..kids…a man..” She started to cry. “I don’t know what they meant but they scared me!” She said in between sobs. I sat down next to her. As soon as I sat down she hugged me. I was hesitant for a moment but I hugged her back and started rubbing circles on her back humming a song. “You're ok Kat..” I promise..” She looked up at me. “What even happened..?” She said quietly. “You fell but luckily didn’t get really hurt just hit your head.” I said looking at her reassuringly. She just nodded and she just snuggled back onto my chest. I continued to hum a song while she calmed down.

Mother POV:
The sun was almost up and I knew my husband would come looking for me. I had to get these kids somewhere safe before he came looking. This was taking longer than I expected. I was walking toward the edge of the place. I had to go back past Las Nevadas to get there. On the way back I saw a house I guess I hadn't spotted before. It was small. I could see through one of the windows that they had a library in the house. I set Draco down and told him to sit and wait. I told Lunar to follow me. She was hesitant to leave Draco alone but I glared at her then she followed. We stopped at the steps. I took the note out of my pocket and threw it down on the floor. Without looking back I threw the potion at her and knocked. I ran back to where Draco and stopped in front of him. He looked so sad. I shook it off and grabbed his hand and continued to walk to the forest on the edge of this land.

Karl POV:
I heard a knock on my door. I was reading a book when I heard the knock. I set my book down and walked towards the door. I opened it and saw a girl. I gasped. “Who could have left you here..” I whispered to myself. I saw a note on the floor after I picked her up but I went to set her down and then came back for the note. I opened it and started reading it.

I sighed. Poor girl. I was silent for a moment. She was only eleven. I looked at her. She had really pretty hair. I noticed her ears. They were pointed. She was a witch. I looked back at the note in my hand and threw it in the fire. I heard the girl start to move. I turned around to look at her. She was staring at me. She looked scared. “Da-..What happened?” I thought for a moment. “You hit your head on the table when you fell.” She was silent. I looked back up at her. “Wenny..are you ok..?” She looked at me. She nodded. I slowly walked over to her and hugged her. She slowly returned the hug.

I ran. I ran towards the woods. He was here. He KNEW I was here. I could hear him. He was not far behind me. I held Draco close to me. I could feel him shaking in my arms. I didn’t have time to leave any note of anything. I saw a house up ahead. I ran faster. When I got close I splashed the potion on Draco. I ran up to the door and knocked. I waited. I knocked again.

Dream POV:
I was working on one of my paintings when I heard a knock on the door. “Who would be here this early..” I mumbled. I folded my wings back, hiding them. I put my paintbrush down and took my apron off. I washed the paint off of my hands. I heard the knock again. “Coming!” I said as I was tying up my hair. I walked to the door and opened it. There was a lady holding a small kid. Before I could say anything, the lady gave me the kid and she had a worried expression on her face. “Please take care of him. He won’t remember anything about me or his father. He will assume your father calls him whatever you would like just not his name. Please never call him Draco. Name him whatever you want. Just protect him please. Do whatever it takes.” She said, sounding very worried. She heard something and she turned and ran off. I wanted to go after her but when I stepped out to go after her I saw her fall to the ground…. An arrow had gone through her head. I turned and saw a man holding a bow he turned and looked at me. That must be the father. I turned and ran back into the house shutting the door behind me locking it. I fluffed out my wings, I could feel the feathers on my ears ruffle out of fear. My wings did the same. I covered the boy with my wings and slowly backed away from the door.
The man was banging on the door. I felt the boy shuffle in my arms. I looked down at him. He looked up at me. “Dada..?” I smiled at him. “Yes Allen it's me..” The man started to bang on the door harder. I pressed my wings against him. “Dada..Why is there someone banging on the door?” I was about to say something when the man broke down the door. I jumped. Still covering Allen in my wings I ran upstairs and set Allen down in my room. “Allen, go under my desk and stay there. Do not come out till I come and get you.” He looked worried but did what I said. I shut the door grabbing my enchanted netherite ax and stood in front of the door. I heard him walking up the stairs. I was nervous. I hadn’t fought in a while. I thought for a moment I didn’t know anyone really close. Then I remembered someone. I pulled up the message box. This person might not be the best help but there all I got.

I put the chat box away. I exhaled. I heard him getting closer. I fluffed out my wings. Hoping they didn’t get injured. I saw him. He had a bow. I hoped that was his only weapon. We stared at each other for a moment. Then he charged at me. I ran back at him. Hoping I didn’t get hurt.

Tommy POV:
When I got Dream's message I immediately grabbed my blue sweater and got ready to leave. I grabbed my sword and a couple golden apples. Some bandages just in case. I put my leather sack on. I turned to look at the shroud. “Shroud I need you to stay here and don’t go anywhere. Please. Papa will be back.” I kissed him on the head and ran out. I put on a beanie over my blood red horns. I couldn’t do anything with my tail. I fluffed out my fire colored wings and flew up. I started flying towards Dream’s house. When I got close I pulled out my sword, landing on the porch. I heard the clinking of weapons being hit together. The door was knocked down. I slowly walked in. Noticing that nothing was really damaged. I slowly walked towards the stairs. I walked up the stairs and saw a man and Dream fighting. I guess he heard me because Dream turned to me. “Tommy!” As soon as that happened the man shot an arrow and it hit one of Dream's wings. “Dream!” A part of his white wing was now a red. He hissed in pain. He turned hard, slicing the man across the chest not killing him but making him stumble back. Dream pulled the arrow out of his wing and threw it at the man but missed. I ran up behind him and ran past him jumping on the man stabbing him with my sword. The man was dead. I turned to look at Dream. He was sitting on the floor breathing heavily. “Thanks..” He whispered. “Can…You open that door..?” He said pointing at the door next to him. I opened it and saw a little boy under his desk. He looked scared. “Allen come here!” I heard Dream call behind me. The boy got up and ran past me jumping into Dream's arms. “Papa!” The little boy started crying. Dream rubbed circles on the boy's back. “Bubba what's wrong?” The boy looked up at Dream. “Is the bad man coming for me?” Dream giggled. “He’s gone. I promise you won’t see him. Also, would you like to meet someone?” The little boy nodded. Dream stood up and walked toward me. “This is Uncle Tommy.” The boy turned and looked at me and smiled. He made grabby hands at me. I gasped. “I'M AN UNCLE?” Dream nodded. I grabbed the little boy and he smiled up at me. Dream looked at me looking sort of sad. “Dream…What's the matter?” He grabbed the boy and started to walk down the stairs. “Let's talk just for a little bit.”
