*Saturday morning*
Lelani's POV
Ring!(vibrate)... Ring!(vibrate)...
"ugh.. who calls people at this time of day" grabbing my phone without looking at the caller id
"Who calls people at 5 in the morning?" I hissed into the phone
" I'm sorry I couldn't wait"
" wait for what?" I ask with confusion
" can you come over?" he says
"I can, but I'm choosing not to"
"are you mad at me? I said I would make it up to you"
" yeah umm I'm still waiting for that so called makeup," I say with sarcasm
" don't smart talk me. get your ass up and come to my house!"
" N.O" I spell it out for him
" your gonna regret that"
" sure," I say and hang up the phone
what the hell is that boys problem? thinking he can just summon me to his house like a damn dog he must be crazy. I throw my phone back onto my dresser and close my eyes for a little more sleep, but before I could fall asleep my phone rings who could this be?
"Hello?"
"come over!"
"NO" I hang up and throw my phone on my bed
RING(Vibrate).... RING(Vibrate)
I snatch the phone off the bed and scream
" What Connor?!" I scream
" who's Connor? are you ok honey?" my dad says
oh shit sorry dad I thought you were Connor
" it's ok I called to ask if you wanted pancakes?"
" no thanks, I think I'm gonna go to a friends house is that fine with you?"
" yes just don't stay out too long."
" thanks, dad love you"
I once again throw my phone on my bed and try to go to sleep, I was ten minutes into my nap when my phone rang... again
"Lelani if you don't come ov-.
"yeah, yeah yeah, I would come over under one condition"
"and what is that?"
"you stop calling me at five in the fucking morning!" I groan
"Deal! be at my house at seven I will send you the directions" he says with excitement
"aww, but its six fifteen right now!
"well then I guess you better hurry up" he hangs up the phone
ugh, I throw the blankets off of me, I hate this kid. why does he want me at his house anyways?

*Hour later*
I arrive at a huge mansion- wait did he send the wrong address? whatever I walk up to the door to ring the doorbell before I could touch the button Connor opens the door
" Hey lelani"
" Hey Connor," I say with sarcasm
" don't sound too happy to see me Leilani," he says with a grin
" so why am I here Connor?"
"well, you wanted answers didn't you?"
"yes"
" if I tell you, you have to promise not to scream, or tell anyone"
I stare at Connor. I think I'm getting a little scared
" not scream?" I say trying to swallow
"yes"
is he gonna kill me?
"pssst. no, I'm not gonna kill you why would you think that?
"what? I didn't say you were going to" I say with confusion
" well, you thought that!"
" how did you know what- wait did you say I thought that? as in you could hear my thoughts?"
" look Leilani I'm a vampire, I can hear people's thoughts, feel their feelings heal and run faster than most," he says in a fast pace with his eyes closed
" umm okay, so that's all?"
" you're not scared?" he asked opening one eye
" nope" popping the p
" well that's a first"
" I stay there and stare at Connor for a couple of minutes before it hits me "vampire"
" yeah, anyways I think I'm gonna go," I say while turning to my car. I break off into a full on sprint trying to get as far as possible from Connor, but before I could get to my car two masculine arms wrap around my waist.
"Let me go" I yell and thrash my arms and legs everywhere
" I can't you know my secret!" he hisses
" I won't tell anyone I promise just let me go," I say with tears in my eyes
"aww is the little lani scared?" he says with a baby voice
" no, i just wanna go home!"
before I know it he puts a towel over my mouth with some kind of liquid that caused me to pass out.
