Beyond the door was a hallway that led to a spiraling stairway that reached up to another level. When we reached the top, we entered another room.
"This is my office," she ushered us inside. "We can speak privately here."
Her office was as big as a small apartment. It had a beautiful view of the oasis outside, and we could see everyone leaving from the entrance to the Royal Palace. The decor was a bunch of unfamiliar antique-looking items placed around, and there was a fancy desk with holo screens up. On the walls of her office were portraits that hung in order. The first portrait was of an older male with golden skin and multiple scars.
"That's our Celestial," the Ryfi Theos informed us. "He's currently off-world somewhere. He's been gone for over one and a half million years now. As usual, he'll no doubt return unexpectedly, with more scars and new techniques."
She sighed as she admired the portrait.
"I've always wondered where it is he travels to that could push a Celestial like him to his limits..."
"Anyhow," she shook her head and moved to the next portrait. "These are the previous Ryfi Theos. Apollos, the first Ryfi Theos, who ruled for over 147 million years. Mud, the second, who ruled for 1.1 billion years before his demise. Preya, the third, and also Viraa's pneumarian mother, who ruled for over 1.5 billion years. Viraa, the fourth, who ruled for over 647 million years."
"And then there's me," she said as we approached a portrait of herself. "I am Raina, the fifth Ryfi Theos, who has ruled over Pneuma City for the last 1.5 million years. It's a pleasure to meet you all."

Fun fact: Raina - a 650 million (1.3 billion in Earth years) years old pneumarian born around the same time Viraa was.
