At the police station, they begin questioning him.

Ramu is shocked. It’s indeed him in the video.
In the footage, he is seen leaving a bag at a bus stand. The police suspect that the bag contains explosives.

Akhil realizes this is part of a larger conspiracy.
The police call in Ramu’s parents. Seeing their son in this state, they felt bad.
Ramu’s father asks, “What’s going on?”
SI Akhil explains the situation: “You can’t do anything now. We’re taking him to court tomorrow. It’s best you consult a lawyer.”
Though SI Akhil, Ramu’s parents, and his friends believe in his innocence, the evidence isn’t enough to clear him. The court sentences Ramu to prison. He is taken to jail.
Sandhya, the girl Ramu loved, had immense faith in him. On hearing the news, she’s devastated. She tries hard to get him released, but since it’s a narcotics-related case, her efforts fail.
