We went on a trip to a place called "Untouched Lake". The name sounded suspicious. "Why do they call it that way?" I wondered. "It's because this lake has never been technologically modified," X answered.

 

I was startled by a pancake-like creature emerging from the lake. It was round, brown, flat, and splashed like a fish. "It's a Floundcake," X said, quickly killing the Floundcake.

 

That wasn't the only enemy here, interestingly.

 

The bushes rustled, like something was coming from them. Suddenly, pink flowers that look like rockets about to touch the ground grew out of the bushes. "Oh no," Tsubaki mumbled.

 

The flowers "looked" at us and locked their targets on us. The flowers detached from the stems and shot themselves out like rockets. I quickly shot one flower with a bow, preventing it from shooting us. "Get down!" X ordered as we ran towards the nearest bush and ducked there. The flowers missed us and hit a tree, making small explosions.

 

"Missilebushes," Tsubaki said. X quickly hacked them. Finally, they were all gone and we panted like dogs.

 

But, like always, another enemy was there. It looked like a giant blue catfish with zigzag-shaped whiskers and had the serpent-like body of an eel. "Oh, COME ON!" I shouted. I focused my vision at it and looked at its name: Lightning Nessy.

 

Its body crackled and its whiskers shook. They threw electric darts at us, stunning us for a while. Then, it executed its next attack: it flailed, causing a shock wave like the Saber Tooth Bear's. We were severely injured. Death was lurking in.

 

The Lightning Nessy was about to perform its next attack. Its whole body was surrounded by a veil of electricity. Suddenly, I had an idea.

 

I fired my Bow of Zeus and targeted the river. The Lighting Nessy was stunned and couldn't move. Tsubaki slowly recovered and stabbed the giant stupid catfish.

 

The Lightning Nessy died and fell into the river, where its blood filled. We hi-fived each other and collected our moolah. As we advanced the lake, our vision was fixated on a slate pyramid which shouldn't be in a forest. We curiously went in.

 

"Hello?" I blurted out, my voice echoing. A hissing sound was heard, which seemed too familiar to me...

 

A Tarantron was there. It seemed upgraded this time: it was covered with spiky hairs. It threw an electric web at me. Thankfully, Tsubaki ripped it open. It screeched, which made us nearly go deaf.

 

"It's a Berserk Tarantron!" X realized. He tried cutting the armor of the giant spider, which failed. The arachnid almost stabbed him with its sharp leg.

 

Logically, metal is a good electricity conductor. When that idea popped into my head, I quickly shot electric arrows at the spider. It seemed dazed and couldn't move.

 

Tsubaki threw her Fire Dagger at the Tarantron and it was fatigued. A few minutes later its stomach exploded, giving out some coins and XP.

 

An Antlion quickly rushed near us, burrowing. I couldn't really make out the details at first, but when I did, it looked ten times bigger than a normal antlion, and it had a mane covering the neck. It roared fiercely at us, which is really intimidating compared to its actual strength. It seemed like a generic enemy.

 

This pyramid was puzzling. There were various switches, doors, labyrinths, anything you might find in a complicated dungeon. Later we were greeted by a skeleton in a purple robe.

 

"I can help you get out of this dungeon," the skeleton said. "How can we be sure you're not a generic enemy?" X wondered. "Slice me in half," the skeleton ordered. As X did, the sword sliced through them. "Come with me," the skeleton instructed.

 

As we did, we encountered a yellow, chiseled door. After Tsubaki tripped on a mere rock, the door opened. "Great thinking," X said in a sarcastic tone. "Shut up," Tsubaki commanded. We went inside the room that the door would lead to.

 

The instant we went in, a scorpion landed on my head. I screamed in utter terror. The scorpion nearly stung me, but luckily I swept it off my hair, Tsubaki repeatedly stabbed the scorpion, basically overkilling it.

 

The skeleton pointed to what seems to be the exit of the pyramid. Finally...

 

A wall quickly closed the exit. What freaked me out was that the wall had multiple eyes. The wall waddled towards us.

 

The wall waddled faster. It was as wide as the room, so there was no dodging. Or was there?

 

The wall shot many lasers from its eyes. The skeleton just mumbled, "Poke it." He left the scene by fading away. That dick. I don't care if he's an NPC.

 

Tsubaki shot one of its eyes with her Ice Dagger. The wall shook, about to lose balance. X rapidly stabbed the eyes with his sword. I ran to the entrance of the room, but the door quickly closed. I concentrated and hit one eye of the wall. The wall crumbled and finally died. We quickly collected all that we could and ran towards the exit. We were disappointed because it looked like the forest we already traversed.
