Lips trembling

I open my mouth

I want to scream

I want to shout

But I’m underwater, and no one’s here

It’s like my words disappear

There is so much

I want to say

To tell the truth

Finally

Hesitate

Drowning my thoughts

I’m trying to breathe

But I cannot

I seize my pen

I make a mark

It’s not much

But it’s a start

I brandish my courage

And write my tale

Of joy and hope

And of despair

To my suprise

Someone else is

Here inside

I scream again

This time louder

They hear my call

And swim to comfort

She holds me tight

I show her my tale

And hear the thunder

We kick off the ground
