The silence breaker.

Disrupting the peaceful night.

Light and delicate, yet unsettling.

.

.

This is the dumbest decision I have ever made.

Who would choose to partake an adventure to the deep forest in the middle of the night?

Who would ever isolate themselves and turn their backs against the world?

Being alone under the pitch-black sky

In an empty bungalow that has probably been abandoned for years

This is just plain stupidity.

The suspense in the air is killing me.

I pulled my legs to my chest and burried my head between my knees.

I want to leave this place, but the darkness on the other end of the door haunts me.

I guess I will just quietly wait for the sunrise.

Then I will find my way out.

I swear I will never step into this ghostly place every again.

I smiled, knowing that a new dawn would arise in a few hours.

Everything is under control.

Everything is going according to my plan.

Until the knock.
