All intertwined,

Like a spider’s web

Of pain and sorrow.

Today my friend

Got a bloody nose.

She’s fine now,

But the blood is on

Another’s jacket.

Today was almost

Another friend’s last day

At school

With us.

Now salt and water are

Leaking from me.

I don’t know

How to help,

Or what to do.

Of everything bad,

And everything wrong

With this world.
