Positano is a small fishing village, where the poor go to make money and gather food. Carabelle, a 14-year-old girl, has only known her mother and her three (soon to be four) siblings. They live in a small, grimy hut, near the coast, where her mother works in a brothel, and her brother works as a fisherman's apprentice. Every day that Carabelle sees her mother she asks, "Why hasn't my father come to help us?", and every day her mother answers, "Tomorrow, my love.". So she waits, waits for someone she knows may never come. Then, a depression hit the world, causing many to live without jobs, to lose their homes, and be separated from their family. Through these tough time, Carabelle keeps her mother's words close to her heart. "Tomorrow, my love.", as if he would actually come. Tomorrow never comes.
