Veilena, “The Eyes of The Gods”, is said to be the decedent to the "devine being crafted by the gods", Eruna and Aruko to act as a “watcher” for them. She was given this task as an inheritance from ancestral mentors and from origin of when the gods created Aehrys.
In truth she inherited the title of Oracle from her mentor, which so happened to be her mother Asçael Akatae, and is quite proud of the fact, the Seer, the trait only passed through the female line of the Akatae
Vilena watched over Aerhys for hundreds of years. Her watchful gaze passed villages and kingdoms, it was normally calm and right, with few wars here and there, murder she had some several past-sight visions, some minor squabbles, or other happenings both good and bad, as things should be.
9th Age of Alesaerii / A.R. 5038-4029
There was unusual happening that evening, Veilenna had an odd sense of unease even that was so out of evening light. As the second sun was setting off over the horizon, something very wrong, as she set her "second sight" toward a village which rested the great kingdom of Naliugia. She definitely sensed something dreadfully wrong, her steps are so light that she almost glides over to the window and slides out onto the solid earth, which felt somewhat crisp but soft to the soles of her feet into the open air which shockingly frigid, yet stagnate for several moments despite the midsummer heat that evening. The wind blew gently at the translucent gold lined black silken veil thet rested acros her face and tousled her long golden hair.
She walked through a field of Liunia flowers, the scent of which had filled the air with a sweet calming smell that relaxed her, but it was a ambiguously relaxed, her ears pricked at the slightest noise, it was her sense telling her to be wary, as it often did , before she consciously knew about it
The inscription on her dress glowing in a bluish hue in the light of the setting sun.
As she walked towards Alesaeria, the central kingdom of Andalugia,
stopped at a stable, and gently knocked on the door of a nearby farm and asked a stable-master if she could borrow a horse. He kindly gave his consent, in trade of a premonition.
As she down the path to Alesaria , the landscape started to morph from the vast fields became forests and then forest morphed into to an ashen crisp. This confirmed her fears. Here was the and the first village of the Alesaerii kingdom crumbling to ruins , and spirit-fire caressed the newly formed ruins. Veilenna had the painful realization realized that she was not alone. There were the Forest dwelling Anakar digging through rubble and dodging in between trees, Hunting ,there was a shout. It sent a cold shiver down her spine, despite the forest being ablaze with spirit-fire. She recognized it as, the former Royal Guard, Vorik Karasied's voice familiar yet it was not as she had expected., there was something different, Much, much colder. Strange she had not foreseen this.
It was roughly in four seasons past when they first met At an official honoring Ceremony of the Alesaerii Guard.
Her horse whinnied, and suddenly bucked, tossing Veilla to the ground.
She stumbled to the tree closest to her, and slipped inside a crevice at its base. There she hid
The three Ana’ Kari rushed past the tree where she was hiding. One of them stopped short and hissed, “I think something is here, I can smell it.” The others nodded and lumbered off. It crouched down and followed her sent trail. It found her curled up in the hole, half asleep. The Ana’ Kari tried to pull her out slowly, without success, Viellana's eyes flared open the moment the beast touched her, She shrieked, and. kicked out, the directly preceding the kick she scrambled to her feet ran for a while with ever quickening yet, smooth strides, but the Anakar were closing in her stride by stride ever gaining it growled the bloodthirsty stench ,"i wont let you get away." it swung its arm grabbed her tightly around the neck knocked her unconscious with one precise blow to her head, with the flat of a Ariathrii blade. Blood trickled down the side of her head as she slid into unconsciousness.
the creature dragged Viellana's limp body to where his leader stood. the Ana'kari knelt down. "My Lord, I believe I have found something you may have an interest in."it snarled, "this cenrè, Fair-blood.." the beast preceded threw her on the ground. In front of his master.
Briefly she regained consciousness, feel the cold metal cuffs lock around her neck, wrists, arms, thighs and ankles all linked by chain Her blurred vision, once again sunk into darkness...
She was awoken by cold water splashed her face, She opened her eyes. looking around, she saw that she was tightly secured to a wall, several chains leading from bollted Steel loops. She tried to yell but she had been gagged .She found herself stark naked, and quite sensitive to the cold stone of the dungeon floor.
She closed her eyes...
Someone else entered her cell , other than the soldier whom had woken her . A powerful presence. The Anakar Warlord Nahkra Thaet, "Well, well... The cenrè is awake," He snarled, "its about time."
Of all the Anakar High Commander Thaet was the most notoriously insane members of the Legions, Corrupt by An entity known as the Saethakii Hykaeris, or "daemon" of the shadow.
His body rippled with discolored shadow-scarred reptilian muscle.
"Out of my way, Fool!!" He roared, Grabbed and propelling the shocked soldier who crumpled against the stone wall of the cell.
He dragged the unconscious body of the the soldier and him next to Veillena
"Well, my sweet one, Whose heart shall I consume this fine Evening, he took a wicked claw and teased her chest, it ever so slightly cutting into her, her golden blood seeping onto a red-tinged blackened claw.
She whimpered in distress. The warlord then tongue slithered,” if I pressed a little, I could jus--, he was interrupted by the door to the dungeon slamming, " Commander Thaet!," a shadowy figure entered the dungeon, " Why are you here...!?!?", a voice as cold as a winter storm, chilled Vielena to her very core.
"I will not permit such treatment of the Oracle, since she is a valuable asset to the Alesaerii Kingdom, and ultimately that makes her a priceless asset to me, you understand , You Or?"
"She is their Oracle , and the last one to harm an Oracle, well ", the shadowy figure paused ," let me Say this, It Did not end well for them.
and hadn’t some of your kind... rebelled, Jidaek and the rest of your pack of Isorlin prath
my own turned against me and joined the Guard, And you being the former Anakar Leader know of whom I speak"
"Vorik Karasied “- father of Graedrin the Betrayer”
He quietly hissed "The young man knows not of the connection,"
"If ,You are deemed weak of mind or body as i was ... It is passed on to the kin, or To the strongest one present."
Nahkra snarled, " or as such I inherited the it from Kiliaak Retias.... by killing him ..."
"The Oracle shall no longer be harmed, my lord , as I serve under the Lord of Saetha's Realm and the Inheritor, I honor none other."
The Anakar warlord then left, with an anakar salute, (the flat of the bone-blade set against the opposite palm, palm facing inward)
As the door slammed shut, the shadowy figure said " if I am not mistaken you are the one called the "Eyes of the gods" , the shadowy figure paused , Am I correct to assume you are Veilenna Akatae, are you not?" we've met once before the man knelt down, "'you know all' ,or so I have heard," I've been wanting to see if it were true ."
He touched her face, the cool metal of the gauntlet strangely left burn-marks on her soft pale skin , she moaned in shock. But something about this man told her otherwise, she looked deep into the gold rimmed, blood red eyes of her captor, and her second sight flooded with visions ,
She saw in this vision a proud father, young boy , And his Father, and mother proud to see their son, also appeared to be an older girl off in the distance , the boy was calling her name
and she saw deep into their eyes as well ,the mans , same blood red irises, and the woman's a deep turquoise,
was this man was Vorik ... hiding something hiding years of pain, called out to them -- Iriena and Graedrin-- were delightfully oblivious to what profound heirloom they would inherit, was something that was kept a secret from all, even from his mother ... By the daemon ,was murdered,
She wasn’t sure ,but it would seem the one she had sent to be executed. Alive, here and out for blood...
snapped a dark gauntleted hand , abruptly woke her from her trance it rung with an metallic sound against the walls of the dungeon walls.
Veillenas bonds fell away as red-black smoke enveloped her body -- she licked her raw lips " I would like to thank you for that, I-- "she trailed off into yet another trance ,her piercing emerald colored eyes turning to a swirling clouded jade,
"Mists and shadows rise from depths unseen, where shadows linger in places unkept of time, darkness shall rise through the innocent and unwary, and reap souls with a hunger till it can consume no more, till its secrets cannot be hidden and the darkness rises once more to claim a final place in its world."
The man quite paciently watched her regain conscious thought , " Peculiar" he pondered away at his own thoughts as he turned away , "Get your clothes,. " he gestured towards the corner, still turned away.
Veillana noted that this was very odd for Vorik to speak to her the way he is, so coldly
the foolishness k to accommodate her to this extent as a prisoner , it was it all overwhelming, yet sparked an curiosity in her , 'At least he had retained some., albeit a rather twisted sense of decency, she was both bemused and amused by the very thought.
Veila ... As she was called by occasionally when she was young, had little to no contact with the outside world as she was taught through the ages of time as oracle before her mentor passed, in the beginning , her sole purpose was to direct those of the land , to thrive. She was young and naive, still learning the ways of the gods... In those years she often rebelled, having gone against her mentors' wishes. But as time went on her visions became more frequent, and she was unable to seek solace in the fact that escaping what she was meant to do, was not an option.

A metalic ringing, brought her out of her daydreaming.
"Quickly now before anyone realizes", The Shadowed man whispered. "We need to leave, now."
