I think you can. It can be used for the NaNoWriMo WIP (Work In Progress) and if you want, you can link your story in the 'Find Your Writing Buddies' society under the NaNoWriMo WIP 2016 content :)

You can, only your final project will be 55,000 words total. The goal is to write a total of 50,000 words in one month

Just copy the URl (link) up at the top of the page when you go to your story and take it to "Find Your Writing Buddies!" and go to NaNoWriMo 2016 WIPs and paste your link on there and that you'd like it to be your NaNoWriMo story for this month. Coen should have it done pretty quickly. :)
