After his best friend dies Kai writes diary entries to his friend every day. This won't show all of them. Just the interesting bits. I feel the need to add this. This story is based on my personal experience with topics like this which is very limited so I apologise if it's not super accurate and seems a bit unorganised.
This is more of a side project so there is no set update schedule
Shout out to Esfandiar C. Hale and my other idea Contributors (who you should check out!) for helping me with this!

So, the children of the prophecy have made it to the shores of Hilgaria. They’ve traveled a long way from their homes. Now that they have figured out where they need to go next, they just have to get there. But there’s just one problem; a body of water stands in their way. The Waters of Abdomes. Ifthey make it across these waters they still have to get to Duelgestein and claim the prize that must not be named.
But with their friend, Skylar, presumably dead, they don’t know what to do. They also have a friend who could be part of the prophecy as well. But Luke isn’t so quick to accept the replacement of someone he loves. And he holds out hope she’s out there somewhere.
With Boromir dead, they can finally relax. Fewer attacks are being brought on them since the Dueglesteiner’s leadership is gone.
But can they make it? Will they find the prize?
Or will they fail and die trying?
Talia Mako knows that secrecy is vital.
Keeping her abilities under wraps is absolutely necessary, and imperative for every superhuman (even if her friend Caster has something to say about it.). The government’s already bad enough, so who knows what they’d do if they discovered superpowers?
Talia doesn’t want to find out.
… Until she does.
Until a life-threatening incident and a quick slip-up exposes the realm of superhumans for good, and the damage can’t be undone.
Talia’s on her own — her life gets flipped around instantly, and she hates her new way of living. Stuck in one building — the complex of an organization called PowerGen — with about 35 other superhumans, she’s unable to do anything other than train and get taken in for experiments on the rare occasion.
She hates it. Hates it, hates it, hates it.
And yet there’s no going back. Only moving forward. Only changing the life she has now, even if she needs to climb over a mountain of doubt just to do so.
Because if she really wants to get out of here, she can’t stop at just anything.
This content contains depictions of violence, death, mentions of suicide, and moderate language, which may be disturbing for some readers. Viewer discretion advised.
Mostly dumb things highschoolers say. Something to read when you need a laugh. Mentions of sex, cursing, on the random occasions killing. Please don't let the massive number of updates change your mind about reading this half of them are less than 10 words long. Since there's no M15+ rating I'm chucking it in here. "That the world is coming to an end has long since been a dead issue. Everyone has heard of it. Those who have seen it know what the truth is, those who haven't either believe it or not. Either way, no one really cares. We shattered reality itself to shards, but even the apocalypse could not make a difference. Those who are lucky enough to live well don't care about other people's misery or how the world collapses, not even if their own children will have nothing to inherit but ashes and fear, and no matter how much power they have, they only use it for their own benefit, while bringing suffering to others. And the worst is, no matter what nightmarish old or new ideologies they use to justify their deeds, the flock will follow. In the end, the story is always the same."
There are things that no one was meant to see, and darkness that should never have been given living form. This is the story of a broken world haunted by the deepest horrors of the human soul, relentless persecution and superstitious hatred, a desperate war against doom itself, and the damned who oppose and never yield to fate. This is not a fairytale.
What to expect:
A deep dark medieval high-fantasy with elves, dwarves, fairies and demons, magic and swords, romance and hatred, and a post-apocalyptic world. This is not a fanfiction of any sort, it's an original story that popped out from my head, and it's very dear to me. I am really happy if you find it worth reading!
