Dear Hayden,
I’M HERE!!!! I’M ACTUALLY HERE IN OXFORD UNIVERSITY!!! I’m writing from my dormitory as we speak its room M-17. I’m sitting at the desk that stretches out across the room there is a massive bed in the corner, an ensuite and red velvet walls. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!! I already enrolled and my room-mate should be arriving in the next day or so! Can you believe I’m even here? It was just as I'd imagined it all those times ago. A sense of euphoria washed over me! Really washed over me it WAS INSANE! This was it, my dream, my life, my goal, who I'm supposed to be Hayden.
When I graduate I want to give up my Australian visa and become an English citizen. Then I'll marry a cute British guy with a sexy accent and get married. We'd have kids and I would have a high paying job. Just liked I'd imagined all those years ago. I don't need to remember about Kelsey or Chiara, Gemma I don't even know where they are at this point in my life. All I need to know is that I'm here, Oxford University. Seriously Hayden this is my life!!! Now all you need to do IS BE HERE WITH ME!!! I’m going to miss you sooooo much!! How am I going to cope? I can’t write you little notes like we did in Primary school! To say I'm nervous is an understatement I'm rocking and shaking in my pink heels, my new Burberry trench coat fits snugly. Burberry trench coat-another one of my wild dreams HAYDEN I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M HERE! I'm glad I forced myself, pushed myself to get here, motivated myself, literally almost killed myself to get here. And you know what? All those nasty cold hearted people that rolled their eyes, gossiped well I bet they're not here now, in one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Not here in their well earned tan Burberry trench coat. I guess that was it, as long as there was Hermione Granger, Emma Watson in my life I was safe, safe with a goal, a role model. Seriously Hayden-I’m so happy to be here!
I'm here. Oxford University. Hogwarts. My Harry Potter obsession turned fantasy. The beautiful carvings around me, I could almost imagine Hermione, Ron and Harry walking right past me. Snape glaring at me, Luna chasing wrackspurts. Hagrid towering over me, a Ravenclaw prefect beckoning me to come over to my dormitory. This is my dream. I'm not studying Transfiguration, Charms or the History of Hogwarts like I always wanted to. I'm studying a combined bachelor of Law and Journalism. Just as my commerce teacher told me I would. I’m not joking Harry Potter is here right here! Who knew I would still be so obsessed with Harry Potter!!
Hayden I had a tearful farewell back in Sydney but I know my parents are proud of me. Proud of how I pushed myself to get here. How I chased my dream, how I wouldn't let anyone tell me otherwise. I think I'll miss you the most Hayden! Your tufts of brown hair, those chestnut eyes and long eyelashes! My beautiful best friend Hayden!! You would fit right in here with your pale white skin. I miss your laugh too! Promise me we’ll meet each other soon!

Yes of course I imagined you’d get here!! Are you serious you WERE BORN TO BE HERMIONE GRANGER!!! You deserve everything you have!! And yes you will meet your sexy British husband!! But don’t forget I’ll always be the number one guy in your life!! I’m so proud of you my dear Gracie! I’ll miss you so much! I already do! I start university in a month-law of course, just like you!! Abigail is fine by the way, she’s going to Macquarie University so the distance is all good although I wish she went to the other side of the world that way our relationship would be at moot point! Seriously Gracie shes actually nothing compared to the woman I need in my life-she’s just-I don’t know. She’s annoying me I guess with her attitude and besides good looks run dry especially with a terrible personality.
Mum and dad are getting a divorce-I mean we all expected it they never stop yelling! Remember when we were seven and you had a sleep-over my parents didn’t shut up! If I recall correctly you ended up calling your mum in fright and from then on you were only allowed sleep-overs at your house. I’m a bit upset to be completely honest-I guess I just wanted them to be together. But oh well-it stops all the yelling. Katie my older sister is having a baby girl I’M GOING TO BE AN UNCLE! It’s pretty creepy actually to have to be there for my sister and I’m going to have to hold a tiny baby in my arms. Katie’s so excited though-they want to name her Ruth it’s like we’re going to have a child from the sixties! But as long as Katie’s happy I guess.
You’ll never guess what I found?! Remember that letter I wrote you in 9th grade? The one about how beautiful you were after Brad broke up with you? Well whether or not here is a reminder! Gracie! Brad is a stupid stupid prick! Clearly he doesn’t know you the way I do! How can he say no to those big doe eyed brown eyes! What about those luscious long brown locks! The guys an idiot! Obviously he doesn’t have good taste in girls-I reckon he was intimidated by your brilliance because hes such a dick! Your smile has the ability to brighten anyones day and once they see it they’re hooked! He’s going to miss out on so much! I can just sit there and brag to him though because I’m smart enough to have the beautiful Gracie in my life!
