Sliding the covering back into place, tawny-colored eyes swept over the area before Renyx dropped his wet trench coat onto the floor. Feeling something scurry up his pants leg, he looked down in time to see the little bot grab onto one of his fingers prior to swing up and over to ascend his arm. Once it had reached his shoulder, the redhead offered a smile as SHU tilted its head slightly to the side, its large eyes flickering before it jumped as water fell onto its head. Chuckling as the thing shook, much like a small dog would, Renyx tapped it playfully on the head before making his way to the center of the warehouse.793Please respect copyright.PENANAyRZFC3mNql
"Do try not to drip water everywhere." The man stopped, looking up to see the tinkerer hanging upside down from a support beam. "There are wires in this area and it would be a pain if you short out my equipment."
"Well, thank you for being concerned for my well-being, Will," he said as looked down at the scattered wiring across the floor. "Where's Cal?"
Righting herself, dark eyes shifted towards the center room. "In the longue area, but he's sleeping."
"Well, this will only take a second," Renyx stated as he began to cross over the cables.
"Hold up." Dropping down beside him, the young woman threw her friend a questionable stare. "I said he's sleeping. What could you possibly want from him?"
"Just have a question…well, questions."
"Uh huh…no."
"What?"
"No questions."
"Why?"
"Because I said no."
"Not valid."
"Like hell it is," Will groused as she put a hand on her hip. "I finally managed to get him calm then he conked out on the couch so, by all means, there will be no questioning as of tonight."
"Will-"
"Just let him sleep, Renyx. He's been through quite enough as of this evening."
"But-"
"Would you want to be questioned to no end after almost bleeding out?"
"Well, no but-"
"Then let him be," she said, "and if, keep in mind I said if he is willing to answer, then you can ask. If he doesn't want to, you can't force him."
"Wanna bet?"
"Anthony…"
"Ok, ok," he said quickly. "Damn, woman…"
"Go wait in the longue but leave him alone."
"I said I wouldn't mess with him! Get off my back, lady!"
Averting his eyes as the darker ones, narrowed on his form, Renyx made his way to the center to see his friend fast asleep on the large black sofa. The way his dark hair blended in with the material left the redhead laughing mentally before he sighed softly. Besides the pale color of his face, Cal appeared to be getting better. Whether or not he'd be bad-tempered in the morning, which wasn't as normal as one might think, Renyx was dead set on drilling the raven with question after question on the alleged task force officer.
"Ren."
"Y-" Pulling the thrown towel from off his head, Renyx tilted his head to the side to see Will just as she took a seat on the second sofa behind him. "You know, I do have hands."
Putting the thing back on his head, he scrubbed the towel against his wet tresses before feeling something squirm beneath it. Stopping his ministrations, he lifted the towel enough to catch sight of small spindly legs. Bringing a hand up, he watched as SHU hopped down, shaking off the water it got on its body before facing the man, head tilted ever so slightly as its eyes flickered in a simulated blinking manner.
"Dry off," she said. "You're dripping water everywhere."
"Yeah, yeah."
"And don't get any water on my precious SHU."
"Precious, huh?" Renyx muttered as he toweled his face dry. "You don't mind a little water, do you?" SHU merely bobbed in the man's hand before its eyes flickered in another simulated blink. "Nope, don't think it minds water, Will."
"If my SHU shorts out, I'm killing you."
"Ha ha. That's funny, Will. Real funny."
"Yeah…laugh it up," she said nonchalant as she turned on the television. "Anyway, there's a change of clothes in the other room."
"Then what was the point of giving me a towel?!"
"Renyx."
"What?"
"Go. Change. Your. Clothes." Flicking through a few channels, she then looked over at him. "Or else."
"Ok, ok," he muttered quickly as he hurried off to the adjacent room to change.
"So, now that you're in drier attire, care to tell me what it was that kept you out in the rain?" Will asked after several minutes of channel surfing.793Please respect copyright.PENANA2huZB73tUR
"Welp, don't think ya would believe if I even told you," Renyx said after pulling on a large, black t-shirt.
"Try me."
The man merely ran his fingers through his limp red mohawk. "Two officers."
"Excuse me?"793Please respect copyright.PENANA4wGmg13yqy
"Saw two officers."
"That's never stopped you from doing things before," she stated as she watched her friend shift uncomfortably. "…what were they doing?"
"Um, before or after?"
"Before or af-what were they doing?"
He looked down as he shifted his weight from one leg to the other. "Well…I think they were…never mind."
"You think they were what?"
"No, it's stupid. Forget it."
"Renyx."
"No."
"Whatever," Will said as she went back to focusing on the large screen before them. And in three…two…
"Ok, ok! I kinda think I saw them…them kissing…?"
"You…think you saw them…kissing?"
"Ok, well, making out," he said before going through the motions.
"I don't need or want a demonstration, Anthony!" she said quickly. "Jeez…"
The redhead flopped down beside her. "You won't believe me if I told you who though."
"…who?"
Renyx looked towards the sleeping teen on the other couch before focusing on the younger woman once again. "Remember the XYZ series we saw some time ago?"
"Yes."
"Remember their names?"
"Yes," she replied somewhat irritably.
"Well, wanna guess who was making out with who?"
"Wait, wait, wait. The XYZ ser-"
"C'mon and guess!"
She rolled her eyes. "Um, Scarlet and Tyson."
"Nope."
"Evren and Scarlet."
"Nope."
"Tyson and Alexis?"
"Nope."
"Dammit, Renyx. Was it Evren and Alexis?" The man shook his head. "What, the two girls were kissing? Is that why you didn't come back immediately?" He remained silent. "You dirty dog."
"I'd stick around to see that," he chuckled prior to sobering, "but no, that wasn't who was making out."
"That was-wait, what?" Renyx glanced in her direction. "Wait, wait, wait," she said, leaning forward. She glanced at the sleeping raven on the couch before looking at the other. "You saw Tyson and Evren?" she whispered in disbelief. "Are you sure?!"
"Positive."
Cracking his eyes open bit by bit, Evren shifted slightly before yawning. Feeling close source of warmth, he'd admit he was comfortable and closed his eyes once more. However, when the source of heat along his backside seemed to move a bit, he rolled over slowly as he opened his eyes. They then widened by a fraction before narrowing into mere slits of death.793Please respect copyright.PENANA0bvYR8qqW3
Across from he saw his teammate and subordinate, Tyson. His facial features were slack and the way his lips were parted allowed the white-haired man to make out the faintest trace of a snore. His hands rest beneath his cheek while his bare, upper chest fell at peaceful intervals. Not daring to drag his gaze down any further, the man's eyes snapped back towards the other's face the moment dark red pools cracked open. And feeling another wave of anger, Evren brought his leg from beneath the sheets to kick the raven in the stomach and out of bed.
"Well, good morning to you too, Princess," Ty grumbled as he pulled himself into an upright position. "May I ask why the hell you decided to kick me in the stomach?" He then glanced at the clock mounted on the wall before focusing on the angry male in bed. "And at seven sharp."
"Why the hell are you in my room, in my bed?" he asked through clenched teeth.
"Let's get something straight, hun." Getting off his knees, he climbed back into the bed and seized a handful of the sheets. "Your sheets aren't black. Your walls, they aren't black. Your floor, it ain't black," he stated as he dropped the sheets in favor of easing forward. Catching the man's leg before he managed to kick him, Tyson yanked his leader over, earning himself a bated stare. "This isn't your room, Princess. It's mine."
"Let go of my leg, Tyson."
"Why?"
"Why? Because I'm ordering you, you ignorant, self-centered bas-"
Smirking at how easy a kiss seemed to quiet his leader, Tyson sat up slowly to see the lightest of pink starting to dart across the man's face. Evren's mismatched eyes were slightly larger than they had been though, once they locked on the dark red ones, that darted away, making the raven chuckle as he cupped a pale cheek.
"Let go of me, Tyson."
"Now why would I want to do that, Princess?" he asked. "If anything, you make the cutest of expressions when you're caught off guard."
"I'm an officer," Evren groused. "Don't call me cute."
"Well, I could say you're ugly."
The white-haired man narrowed his eyes again. "Get off."
"Nope."
"I said to get o-"
Smiling as he sat up again, Tyson watched the man's flushed face darken before chuckling aloud. His hand that was on the other's face went up to toy with the bed-mussed hair prior to watching the oddly-colored eyes drift shut. Leaning down as he heard a soft exhale, Ty hover over his leader for just a few seconds before feeling something at his throat.
When it began to tighten, he made out the long, slender fingers wrapping along his neck while his nails began to dig into skin. Feeling something else at his abdomen, it only took him a brief moment to realize it was the man's free foot. He was then startled for just a minute as the mismatched eyes opened to mere slits.
"You don't listen," Evren said under his breath before kicking his leg up and knocking the man off the other side of the bed. When the raven got into an upright position, he saw that his leader was already looming over him, disdain upon his features. "Listen and listen good. If I tell you to do something, hell will freeze over before you tell me no. If I told you jump, what the hell are you to do?"
"…ask how high?"
"If I told your ass to run, what would you do?"
"…ask how fa-"
"You just fucking run until I say to stop!" As dark eyes averted themselves, a scowl upon their owner's features, Evren massaged a temple before placing his hand on his hip, wishing he had a holstered weapon. "Now tell me this. Why am I only in my underwear?"
"Your clothes were wet from the rain."
"Wet from the-you know what? Just go get my damn clothes and have them ready when I get back."
"And where exactly are you going?"
"To take a shower," the man said as he began to walk towards the bathroom, "and nothing funny."
Hearing the man shift in his spot, Evren closed the door shut, not caring for the noise from the unnecessary slam. Undressing the rest of himself, he stepped into the shower, ready to relax his muscles with the hot spray from the showerhead.
Instead, he got quite the opposite when he was blasted face first with almost freezing water. Backing quickly into the shower's wall, he looked up the moment the overhead light flickered prior to the bulb shattering. Annoyed by the pieces of glass on his skin, he adjusted the water's temperature to wash up. Cutting the water soon enough, he looked down at his still swollen hand before sighing as he slid the door aside to step out.
Hearing a whistle, he startled before grabbing a black towel. "Can't you knock?" the white-haired male growled as he covered himself.
"I did knock," Tyson replied. "Maybe you weren't paying attention." Evren looked elsewhere. "How's your hand?" the dark-haired male asked as he looked up at the blinking lights. "And do try not to break any of my bulbs while you're here."
"Shut up."
Rolling his eyes as he stepped forward, Ty jumped back the moment he received a shock. Looking down at the dark tile, he stared at the puddle spreading along the floor before focusing on his irate leader. "Will you calm the hell down?" he griped. Glancing down at the water then seeing the lighter overhead going on and off, the raven just threw the other's clothes onto the counter. "Moody little b-"793Please respect copyright.PENANAQC3Ph5OeGY
Hearing the door slam shut, Evren walked over to his clothes as he began to dry off. Once dressed, with just a bit of difficulty, he walked out, toweling his damp hair before coming to a stop. Looking around since he hadn't been ambushed in anyway, the guest slowly crossed the room, scoping it out until he heard sounds coming from the kitchenette.
Folding the towel, he made his way over quietly and spotted his subordinate moving around. Catching the scent of something hot cooking, Evren arched an eyebrow as he took a seat at the table. Propping his head up in his good hand, he watched for a few moments more, surprised that the other didn't even catch his presence. Then after sitting there for at least a good fifteen minutes, the one sitting cleared his throat.
"I already know you've been sitting there," Tyson said offhandedly, not bothering to look over his shoulder.
Sitting straight as the raven pulled something down, Evren craned his neck before sitting back in his chair as the other man walked over with a plate in one hand and a hot, metal skillet in the other. Seeing its metal handle, the paler male arched an eyebrow again before looking up to see a slight smirk tugging at the man's lips.
"What?"
"It's not like I'm going to burn myself," Ty stated as he sat down the dish.
"Yeah, it'd be a tragedy if you did," Evren said sarcastically before having food set before him. "What's this?"
"I believe it's what people call breakfast. Does it ring any bells, Princess?"
Throwing a baleful stare the man's way, Evren looked down to see an omelet made from egg whites. Spotting the three strips of turkey bacon and a croissant stationed along side it; he looked up again the moment a glass of orange juice was set beside it as well as a fork and knife.
"You know, I could kill you with this," he commented as he picked up the sharper utensil.
"Yeah, you could but I don't think you will," Tyson replied as he back over the counter to clean up.
Looking at the knife then at the raven's back for a few seconds, Evren set the item down in favor of picking up the fork. Eyeing what had been presented; he cut into the omelet and ate a piece. Chewing slowly as he tasted bits of ham, several cheeses and a bit of green peppers, he picked up a slice of bacon, devouring that before moving over to the cup of juice and finally the croissant. Not bothering to look as Tyson took a seat across from him; Evren finished up his breakfast and wiped his mouth. Pushing the plate aside he then turned his focus to his subordinate that had just been sitting there with a cup of coffee.793Please respect copyright.PENANA4zqVYmmX3k
"Someone brought breakfast while I was in the shower, right?"
The taller man set his cup down. "You wound me, Princess."
The other just rolled his eyes. "Who made my breakfast?"
"I did."
"Liar."
"Again, you wound me." Taking a sip from his cup, Tyson looked towards the small window. "You eat the same thing every morning. It's not that hard to make an omelet, hun." Staring at the man from over the brim of his coffee mug, another smirk flitted across his face though it was hidden by the cup. "I think a bit of thanks is in order."
Evren simply eyed his empty plate before picking up the knife from earlier. "You want a thank you?" he stated more so than asked as the utensil moved deftly between his fingers.
Turquoise and jade eyes shifted up to meet the claret ones. "…never mind," Ty muttered as he set the cup down with unnecessary force. "If not a thanks, I want something else."
"Something…else?" Catching the imminent smirk, the paler man rose from his chair. "I'm leaving now."
"Oh c'mon!" Ty called as he followed after the man. "I was just making a suggestion." His leader stopped to throw him a disbelieving look. "Wait, what were you thinking?" Evren started for the door again, causing the other to laugh softly. "Don't tell me that the Princess has a dirty mind," he teased as he continued after the other. "Hey, come back here."
Feeling a tug at the back of his shirt, he glared at his team member, ready to snap a command. However, a knock from the door had him reaching for it. Pressing his hand on the sliding barrier, he glowered when he felt weight upon his shoulders.
"I'm not your support," Evren groused. "Get off."
There was another knock. "Aren't you going to get that?"
"Get off."
"Nope," he said before sliding the door open.
Standing there was the brunette with her hands clasped behind her back. Her head was slightly down, letting her brown locks fall in her face though a small smile could still be seen as she started to tilt her chin up.
"Hey, Ty," Scarlet began as she moved her hands to toy with the hem of her red and black pleated skirt, "have you seen Evren? We went to his room but no one answered."
"I'm right here, Scarlet," the leader replied. "Unfortunately…"
The female of darker complexion then tilted her head a bit to the side, her dark green eyes first observing the raven before looking down at the one he was leaning on. Tilting her head in the other direction, she raised one of her hands and began signing away.
"Why am I in his room?" Evren asked. "Apparently he brought me here last night after our shift. Guess I fell asleep." Alexis nodded once before continuing again. "Well, I would've opted for my room instead but it can't be helped."
Dark green eyes then went up to stare at the raven. "What?" he asked as she began a new message. "I mean I could've taken him to his room but I didn't want to carry him up all those stairs."
"But we have elevators," Scarlett piped.
"Yes, that we do," Evren said with a firm nod as he tried to shrug off the man. "Care to tell us why you didn't just use those?"
"Um…Scarlet, Alexis, any specific reason you two lovely ladies decided to stop by?" Tyson inquired. "We were kinda in the middle of breakfast."
"No we weren't. I was just in the process of leaving," Evren said.
"You were staying," the raven stated as he reached down to grab the man's injured hand.
Bastard… Drawing a steady breath, the white-haired man exhaled slowly before focusing on the pair of women. "Ah, you said you went to my room earlier. Why were you looking for me?"
"Oh, the Director wanted us to come get you," Scarlet said, making both me straighten. "He said he couldn't reach you via radio or phone so he sent us to find you."
"Oh," he replied once he managed to get his injured hand free. "Any specific reason?"
"Follow us," the brunette said giddily. "He wants to see all of us actually."
"All…all of us?" Ty asked.
The brunette nodded before Alexis signed something towards their leader.
"That's the reason?"
"What is?" Tyson asked.
"We've been scheduled to test out new equipment." Evren replied before glancing at his injury.
Coming around slowly, Calix rubbed one of his eyes before opening them.793Please respect copyright.PENANASXCSbCNNPE
"Mornin',"Renyx said, sitting on the edge of the low-lying table.
"Yeah…" Sitting up, Cal spotted the carton of cigarettes and grabbed one. Lighting it up, he sat back on the couch before noticing that his friend was still watching him. "Yes?"
"Nothin'."
Shrugging his shoulders, the dark-haired teen flicked on the television as he continued to smoke. About halfway through, he glanced to his right to see the redhead watching him intently.
"Yes?"
"Nothin'."
Shaking his head, Calix resumed his previous activity. However, when the staring failed to stop, the teen put out the cigarette quickly, leaving the crushed butt to be left in the old ashtray.
"What is it, Renyx?"
"Noth-"
"And don't say nothing. You've been staring at me since I woke up. What is it?!"
"Hey, hey!" Both men looked to see Will standing there with SHU perked on her dual-colored head. "What's with the yelling?" She then looked at the clock stationed on one of the walls. "It's not even one in the afternoon yet so someone better start talking as to why it's so damn loud. I'm trying to work!"
"Well, for starters, you're the one that's yelling." She narrowed her eyes at the older man. "…just sayin'."
"He keeps staring at me," Calix huffed. "It's annoying as hell."
"Renyx, stop staring at Calix."
"But-what?! I haven't done anything to him!" he grumbled. "S'not like I laid a finger on the brat!"
"Don't call me a brat!"
"Runt."
"Don't call me a runt!"
"Twerp."
"Boys!" Both looked at her again before glaring at each other. "Jeez!" Will uttered as she rubbed the side of her head. "When did I become your mother?!"
"Well, for a start, I didn't ask for a mom," Cal stated. "Didn't have one growing up and don't need one now, thanks!"
Watching the youngest of the trio light another cigarette, Renyx looked towards the irritated female. "Eh, kid's gotta' point."
"Don't call me a kid," he grumbled before exhaling the dark grey smoke.
"Besides, wouldn't be right if I thought mom was kinda' hot."
"What?!" The older man looked between his two friends and gave a one-shoulder shrug. "Repeat what you just said!"
"How are you two doing that?"
"That's not the point!" Will hissed.
"Yeah!" Cal added.
Ochre eyes went over to the nineteen-year old. "Why the hell are you all worked up about this?"
"Don't change the subject!"
"Whoa." A grin then crept along his face. "Don't tell me you're jealous, CL."
"What?! No!"
"C'mon, don't you think Will is at least cute?" Renyx asked as he pulled aforementioned into a bear hug. "C'mon, say she's cute, Cal."
"No."
"No in you won't say it or no in she's not cute?"
"Renyx!"
"Yes, Will?"
"Let go of me!" she hissed, wiggling around. "And Cal, don't you dare answer that! I will kill you if you do!" Stamping on Renyx's foot, she managed to get free and turned, pinning the duo with a deadly glare. "Now, I'm going to go continue working and there will be no more talk of this!"
"Of you and your cuteness?"
"Anthony!"
"Ok, ok," he laughed as she stormed out of the room. "Take a compliment, lady. Damn." Taking a seat across from the raven, the man resumed his previous endeavor. "Lefay."793Please respect copyright.PENANA2KzuBjWWnA
"Anthony."
"Don't call me that."
"Well, don't call me by my last name."
"CL."
"Dammit, what?!"
"We need to talk."
"About?" Calix asked, shifting a bit on the couch as the older man made his way over.
Standing before the seated one, Renyx bent at the waist. "Us."
"E-excuse me?!"
"You heard me."
Us? Who is this 'us'?! There's no us!"
"What did I just say about all the yelling?!" Will shouted from her workstation. "Shut up or get out!"
"There is no 'us'," the raven hissed quietly, glaring at the man that had gotten even closer. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm going home to shower." Moving aside to watch the other go, Renyx grabbed hold of his arm. "Let go, Anthony."
"Don't you start that either," he chided as he pulled the younger man back.
Backpedaling, Cal glared once he fell back on the sofa. "I don't have time for this."
"Then make time, Cal."
"What's this about?"
"I already told you but if you insist on being dense, lemme break it down to you slowly, alright?" He watched the darker eyes narrow. "I want you to tell me exactly why is it that you're willing to see this officer named Evren."
"That's none of your business," Cal replied before pushing the man away.
"I think I deserve an explanation!"
"You think you deser-I don't owe your ass anything!"
Getting to his feet, Calix stormed towards the door, giving a brief goodbye to the tinkerer working with a small blowtorch before dropping down into the sewer. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he walked through the tunnel, eyes downcast. Glancing up as he came across the area his name had been etched, he ran his hand over it before bristling at the sound of footsteps further back.
"Who is he to you?"793Please respect copyright.PENANAJHRtzB5z66
"None of your business," he replied before grabbing the third rung of the ladder. Feeling a hand grab the bottom of his pants leg, Calix grimaced before throwing a glare the man's way. "Let go, Renyx."
"No." Pulling harder, he watched as his friend dropped back down to the ground, a dark look in his already dark eyes. "Tell me how-"
"I said that was none of your business."
As the raven turned away, ready to ascend the ladder once again, Renyx grabbed the man's shoe a second time, pulling him back. Hearing what could've been a low growl, the taller man gave the other a bit of space, also dodging a punch thrown.
"Cal-"
"Anthony, leave me alone!" he snapped. "Shouldn't you be hanging out with Will?! You think she's cute and all, right?!"
"Well, ya know what, I could and…and…what a damn minute!" Light eyes watched as the smaller man walked away. "I said to wait!" Getting hold of the other's hand, Renyx turned the teen around before pinning him against the wall to cease his struggling. "Are you jealous or something?"
"I could ask you the same thing! Let go! Let go, let go, let go!" Calix ordered as he continued his somehow futile attempts to get away. "I said let go!"793Please respect copyright.PENANAsgODn318EV
Feeling the other's foot stamp down hard on top of his own, Renyx sucked in a pained hiss but held his position. "Calix."793Please respect copyright.PENANAIWniYF3RJK
"No!"
"Cal-"
"No!"
Pulling then pushing his friend back into the concrete wall, the lighter-colored eyes lost their narrowness when the smallest of sound, something almost similar to a mixture of a whine and gasp. "Cal-?"
"Let go."
He did so. "Calix." Said person just hung his head before grabbing the ladder rung. "Calix, I-"
"Just go hang out with Will! You're always messing with her and pissing her off. I mean, you piss me off too but it's not the same! Just…just go spend time with her! Hang out, go out, and then go get married!"
"Cal-"
"Have kids and die old together!"
"CL!" Noticing how tight the younger man's grip was on the ladder, Renyx slowly reached over to loosen his grasp prior to shrinking back as the other start to tremble. "Cal-"
"It's not fair. How long have you known Will?"
"Since…since we were little…"
"Since you were little. That's fucking great!" Calix shouted as he hung his head. "Just fucking great."
"Whoa, hey. I'm sorry, ok?" the redhead said quickly. "I didn't mean ta' tease you, ok? It's just-"
"Tease?" Scrubbing a hand down his face, the dark-haired man peered through his fingers to stare at the ground. "I can care less about your teasing, Anthony. I really can care less."
"Cal…"
Aforementioned just continued to stare at the ground before slowly raising his head. "You two have known each other since you were small, huh?" he chuckled mirthlessly. "Years…"
"Ca-"
"So many years…" Looking around the tunnel, Calix laughed joylessly once again. "We were best friends."
"Were? We still are!" Grabbing a hold of the more slender shoulders, Renyx held tight. "Don't you go talking crazy on me, CL! You're not going to do anything stupid are you?! "
Dark eyes lowered slowly. "You really are an idiot," he muttered. "I meant with the officer."
"Offi-you mean with Evren?" Cal nodded somberly. "Wait, how were you two ever friends?! He tried to kill you!"
"Yeah, I know." Balling his hand into a fist, the teen ignored how his nails were beginning to cut into his palms. "Such a long time ago…"
"No, that happened just the other night!"
The youngest of the pair just shook his head before scrubbing his hand down his face again. "We were friends…a long time ago…"
"What happened?"
"He…we were…and then he-he-"
Feeling his voice catch in his throat, he knew it would crack if he forced it.
"Cal, hey?" Registering the pat on his cheek, Cal shifted before backing away from the man. "Cal? Calix, tell me what happened."
"They're…going to take care of…you from now on, ok?"
"Ren, come with me!"
"I...can't do that. I'm...sorry, Cal. Run..."
"Calix." Opening his eyes due to being shook, brown stared up at the yellowish-brown ones. "Hey, take slow, deep breaths, Cal!"
"R-R-R"
"Deep breaths, Calix!" Watching as his friend brought a hand up to his throat, Renyx looked over his shoulder. "Will!" He then focused on the hyperventilating teen. "Cal, calm down! Please, just slow, deep-Will!" Stepping back, Calix shook his head slowly before bolting down a side tunnel. "Calix, wait!" the redhead shouted before hearing footsteps behind him.
"Are you ok?" Will asked slightly out of breath. Looking around, she slipped her firearm back into a cargo pocket. "Where's Cal?" The man pointed down the alleyway he had disappeared. "Is he ok?"
"The kid just started hyperventilating. I think he had an anxiety attack."
Pulling her hair from out of her ponytail, Will frowned as she ran her combed her fingers from the dual-colored tresses. "Ok, just give me a moment and we'll go to his place," she said as she turned to head back.
"I've never seen him freak like that before," Renyx uttered as he followed behind her. "Poor kid. Wonder what triggered that."
"I'm not sure," she said before looking back at him, "but I'm pretty sure I know who does."793Please respect copyright.PENANATax21PmZaB
