She was a simple coral and kale farmer taken in boy the ruling royal family to be their heir. She missed her parents but understood they saw her as the perfect choice, so didn’t argue it despite her not wanting that heavy responsibility. In her twenties she met Richard at a gathering of nobility. They were married several years later and into her forties they had two children. It would shortly be after their first child the Myrin’s would step down due to health and Rose would take the throne. Still Rose misses the days growing and harvesting coral and kale. She tries to visit her parents as much as she can but escaping the throne is not simple. Her and Richard were married twenty years before he had gone to visit the people and returned injured, as were the guards. The wound became infected and neither human nor merman or mermaid medic could remove the illness. He passed away about a week later at age sixty, Rose was fifty. To help cope, she got Fluffy and became familiar with the leaders in the other eight regions as well as the heads on the land above Coliest.
