I started middle school and high school in Hong Kong. I am now currently a sophomore in a Hong Kong university. I would say school life in university is quite different from that in high school.
The first day when I entered the lecture hall, it was crowded with many students. It was my first lesson, Calculus for Life Science. I was nervous and excited at that time but I told myself to chill. Everything is gonna be okay!243Please respect copyright.PENANARl1fK0p9lz
Students are usually eager to start school and pay full attention on the first day, and I am no exception. I took out my notebook and laptop from my bag, paying attention to the professor and taking notes. However, I would say I was quite disappointed with the lecturer. He wasn't good at teaching math and abstract concepts, and even further confused the students with his terrible teaching styles. Later, I heard the seniors who sat behind me complained that he had been an unprofessional teacher for at least 5 years.
Luckily I did preview the lecture slides and study beforehand, allowing me to grasp the concepts and equations quickly without a problem. During a small break between lectures, a girl who sat next to me asked if I could help her with her math problem. I kindly taught her everything she should know during the first lecture and she thanked me. We then exchanged our names and decided to have lunch after class. We had enjoyed a pleasant time together.243Please respect copyright.PENANAb6GzPUjg71
I was very happy that I could make new friends at school. We could study, play and go shopping together. Although I am already a sophomore, I am still looking forward to my future happy school life!243Please respect copyright.PENANA660IIH5dOE
