I put it in quotes because even though it’s inhibiting my productivity, it is nonetheless adorable, a distraction I don’t want to end. Both of them have personalities and imaginations that are equal parts adorable and inspiring — I can’t brag on my girls enough. No, they aren’t perfect little angles, and they have their moments of misbehavior (any child does), however, on the whole they are sweet and incredible. They have even found themselves each represented in my novel.

Despite the occasional bad attitude, or recurring bad habits, these two girls bring so much joy and laughter to my life.
