Monica's POV
Kiana rolled her eyes and frowned, obviously not getting any information that she didn't know. "You survived a car crash, and I guess you broke the speed limit," I said hesitantly. I don't think she even wanted to talk to me. Kiana gasped at the news and used her left, uninjured hand to dry her tears. Dr. Borwn said that our visiting time was up, we all hugged Kiana and left. "I think you two should go come now," Mrs. West said concerned. We left the hospital and the car ride was silent to the cafe. "Thanks for coming, I really appreciated it," I hugged James. "It was a pleasure," he replied. He went into the car and drove off. I called a cab to come to pick me up, and in a few minutes time, it arrived. I went into the taxi and ignored the driver's quarrelling about driving late at night. I finally got home in 15 minutes and paid the driver 10 bucks. I opened the door to my abandoned house, spick and span as ever. Well, I guess my cereal bowl was still in the sink, but otherwise, it was really clean. I went straight to my room, and this time I put my bag on the doorknob. I studied a little for Mr. Campbell's test and afterwards drifted off to sleep. Too much drama had happened and I was too lazy to go take a shower or brush my teeth. All I could think about was how boring it would be without Kiana tomorrow. Friday was our movie night.
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
"Ugh, that stupid alarm clock," I said looking at the big 7:00, getting ready to hit the snooze button. I hoist up out of bed, knowing that if I went to school late, I would have to go through another set of bickering in my ear hole. I put my long, brunette hair in a messy bun, took a shower and wore my Adidas crop top and gym pants. Yes, I do wear gym pants and yes, I do go to the gym. I went downstairs to the kitchen to get myself a fruit smoothie. I just felt too depressed about the accident yesterday to even think about Fruit Loops. I drank 3/4 of my smoothie and brushed my teeth. It was already 7:30 and the bus didn't come until another 15 minutes. I decided to just study for my Math test, since I really didn't have anything to do. It was a few minutes until the bus came and I walk to the bus stop. When I got to the bus or when I went in the bus, everyone looked at me awkwardly as I went to the backseat. It was only because that they hadn't really seen me on the bus and a lot of new people were there. "Today is just not my day..." I said as the bus drove off. I arrived at school and my Sprint uplifted as soon as I saw James. "James!" I shouted and waved for him to see me. He smiled as soon as soon as he saw me and I walked towards him. He complained all along the locker halls about the doll was whining in his ears. I got confused looks and glares, but they just got ignored. "You are not a good dad." I said, shaking my head. He scoffed and replied, "I doubt you're even a good mother." I winked and said, "Well we'll see about that..." the bell rang and that meant it was literature. Yes! "Bye James!" I said as I walked down the hall. He looked at me confused and asked, "Did you forget we have the same ckasses together on a Friday?" I facepalm to myself as he left. We both walked a literature finding excuses about why each one of us can take the baby, and of course, the father one. After complaining what I can take the baby, James ignored me and we got to Literature. We read a weird book, well I don't even remember the name of it and the class was over pretty fast. Afterwards, it was time for another boring class. Guess what? It was Math.
I walked in seeing Mr. Campbell's face sternly looking at me. The class went by really fast, I guess it was because Mr. Campbell was looking at me for almost the whole session. It seemed as if I had done something wrong. for the second time this week, Mr. Campbell called me back to talk. James looked at me curiously as Mr. Campbell had called him as well. The whole class looked at both of us as if there was something on our faces. "First of all," he stated, "James is not in trouble. I have been looking at you oddly for today's class because you look to sure about passing this test, but I think that you're not ready. I can only do ome thimg but let James tutor you." Now, you all think that I would be super duper happy that James was tutoring me. First of all, I do not like tutors. They take up most of your time when you could have been studying on your own, trying to get you to learn things in a few minutes. Second of all, why was James the one that's tutoring me? I think he didn't feel too good about it because his facial expression was just.... I don't even know how to say it. I guess he didn't like the tutoring idea either. Mr. Campbell continued, "James is the smartest student in my class and I already signed your name to do the Entrance Fee". James gasped at the thought of this. The entrance fee is this test that you have to take if your average is 70% and lower. My percentage was 78% so I don't even know why I was doing the test. Either way it had to be done, because I really wanted to go to prom. I sighed, and looked at James disappointedly. "Ok sir," James said blankly. He dismissed us and it was James' favourite class of all, gym. We decided not to talk about the tutoring at all and agreed to do it in the library. I told him I only had a limited time because I had to give something to Kiana. He agreed that our session would start immediately after school.
Kiana's POV
I actually thought staying in a hospital not doing any work would be fun. I thought completely wrong. I had some hyperactive disorder, so I couldn't get out of the hospital. My mom decided that I still have to learn, so she hired a private teacher for the time being at the hospital. I hope that won't take long. I get taught for like 4 hours a day, I think and afterwards I can do anything I want. Today was Monica and I's movie night and I hope she would be here. It would be really disappointing. I slouched in the bed, looking around at the boring white and grey paint on the walls and the oh so boring metal tools on the desk. It made me wonder, how do people work at this place? It's so dull and boring. They should upgrade the place someday. As we always watch in the movies, the nurses give me the most disgusting things to eat. Like, who eats broccoli nowadays? Today I got broccoli, chicken, and eggs. Sounds like a horrible combination, but it actually tastes good. If you eat them one by one of course. It felt so lonely at the hospital. I just wish 260Please respect copyright.PENANAzluxfdtBgD
Monica was here with me. As I hope, I will get a lot of explanation about what was going on at the cafe. I was thinking about school, and I would probably be doing gym with Monica and James. Mr. Lee was such a pain in the neck. Or is the other way around. Whatever it is, I didn't like Mr. Lee at all. Last Friday, he let us run around the football field for 15 minutes and I'm telling you that football field is HUGE!! But I'm pretty sure my class was used to it, since Mr. Reid didn't really like us. Oh who am I kidding? He HATED us. But, he was only nice to his daughter of course, Rebecca Reid. She would just sit down and drink Lemonade while the rest of us ran our butts off. Sometimes not even the boys could manage it. We couldn't say anything about it to anyone, or else we would get a full month's detention. Yep, he had it hard on us.
Just remembering about Gym class made me teary eyed. I missed school, although I dreadfully hated all the teachers there... and some of the students...and some of the lunch... and all the homework that we get. But besides that, Lowstalk High is the best. I just can't wait until my arm heals.
