Naruto is the type of character who doesn’t give up because that is his ninja way. The episode highlights Naruto’s time to shine. For instance, when Kiba embarrasses him by sending him tumbling to the ground with one intense blow, the audience immediately assumes that Naruto lost the match. However, when Naruto gets up, everyone is shocked. Therefore, this makes them realise that Naruto has changed, and they are finally acknowledging him as a strong ninja. Naruto is determined to win this match, no matter what
Moreover, in this match, Kiba is presented as being arrogant. Firstly, he thought he had already won the match by giving Naruto one intense blow. Kiba immediately lets his guard down, believing that he is better than Naruto. Moreover, we also see the close friendship he has with his dog, Akamaru. For instance, they both activated their Man-Beast Clone Jutsu to overwhelm Naruto. At that moment, Kiba and most of the people in the audience immediately thought that Naruto would lose the match. However, Sakura and Kakashi are confident that Naruto is capable of winning the match. Therefore, Naruto proves to be a dynamic character who continues to grow as a fine shinobi.
