Kia waited at the edge of the forest, for FOUR . WHOLE . DAYS.
She, being the smart one, liked school. (Please don't take offense to this line!)
She liked math, she knew that Ari liked science, Herrah liked gym, Carmine liked music, and Mica liked humanities (history) BEFORE Ms. Bartly became the teacher.
Four days, that felt like four years passed before her friends ran out of the forest.
Herrah first, then Carmine, then a pretty looking Umbreon with stars in its rings, then came Mica.
"Hey, guys!", Kia shouted.
Everyone came towards her.
"Hi, Kia", Carmine said, sounding tired and happy.
"Hey, Kia, guess what!?", Ari exclaimed, sounding exited. "I evolved!".
"Hi", Mica said with an exhausted gasp.
"Did you guys find any good hiding places?", Herrah asked, not sounding tired at all.
"No, and we can't go home either, they've been patrolling the villiage for a while, now", Kia answered.
"We've all got dead families now"
"Wow", Carmine said, breathless.
Suddenly, a net dropped out of the sky, landing on top of Kia and her friends.
"Found you~", called a super - duper deep voice.
It was Churato, the Pokemon who would be fat if he wasn't part Machamp.
Kia tried to escape the net, but she couldn't, she pushed harder and harder, until she glowed...literally.
Kia began to change shape, she had evolved.
Kia could now see the fear in Churato's eyes, she saw as everyone ran into the forest, leaving Kia and her friends stuck in a net with no way out.
Kia couldn't even try to squeeze out of the net, thanks to the new shell on her back.
Sliggoos and Giratinas didn't have shells...then again...Hisuian Sliggoos used to have shells.
Hisuian Sliggoos are also extinct, and her parents were normal Goodras, so how could she be Hisuian?
"You know you're saying all that out loud, right?", Carmine pointed out.
"Oh...", Kia responded, obviously embarrassed.
"You've probably just been dehydrating yourself too much", Carmine said, sounding a bit strangled.
Kia heard cough and gasp as she tried to get out of the net.
Then Herrah coughed out a bunch of flames.
Ari used protect, Kia hid in her shell, Mica went into Ari's protect, and Carmine just got scorched.
The net burned away and everyone ran.
They decided they would go to the ocean.
The journey would take days, but it would be worth it.
If they could cross the ocean and go to the Ancient Islands, they could hide and survive there.
There were four islands: Melemele, Akala, Ulaula, and Poni.
Humans used to live there, so there will be lots of shelter, there's is also a lot of food there.
The islands are mostly abandoned, with no Pokemon in sight.
The journey will be long and perilous but it's a journey they'll have to make.
