Warning!: decomposing/decaying bodies, mentions of a dead parent
Herrah stared at Feral Forest, her exhausted legs shaking in fear, she had heard stories about this forest.
Her father DIED in this forest.
Herrah told herself that she'd never go here again, yet here she was, walking straight into the forest of her nightnares.
Herrah knew she had to through the forest, considering that there was no way around, on one side, was Stone Mountain, the last place Yveltel cursed before it died.
Without Xerneas, Yveltel had to be exterminated.
Stone Mountain made everyone who set foot on it turn into stone, including Ari's mother.
On the other side was Poisen Valley, all things that go there never come out alive.
Kia's dad went there and his bones washed up 3 days later.
Herrah was pretty sure Feral Forest was the safest option, phisically speaking, a shiver went down her spine as she and her friends stepped into the forest.
An eerie silence surrounded them, only broken by the sound of their own walking.
The trees got thicker and thicker as they went further and further into the forest.
Herrah looked up and froze in pure terror.
Hanging above her was skeletons and blood, below her was the decomposing bodies of the ferals that lived here.
Herrah could hear faint gasping noises coming from the ground.
"Herrah?", Carmine whispered, shocking her.
"Hmm?", Herrah responded.
"W-Where are the others ?", Carmine asked.
Herrah looked around and realized that Carmine was right, the others were missing and not a single one was in sight.
"Maybe they're out already?", Herrah proposed doubtfully.
"No, they wouldn't have done that", Carmine answered.
Herrah looked back, searching for signs of her friends, she looked left, then, right, keeping Carmine close so she didn't dissapear.
"W-We should keep going, they're probably waiting for us at the exit, r-right?", Herrah stuttered, fear leaking into her voice.
Carmine nodded, her eyes full of worry.
Carmine continued on, looking at the bones around them.
Herrah wondered if any of them belonged to her father, she made sure that she didn't step on any of the decaying bodies around her.
In the darkness of the forest, Herrah could hardly tell vines from dead bodies.
The sounds of the forest grew louder and louder, suddenly a loud shreik echoed through the woods.
Herrah knew that voice by heart.
That voice belonged to Ari...
