Last Christmas was unlike any other I've ever known, and what made it that way...was you. Sure, I had had good Christmases before, but none as wonderfully magical and love filled as this one. You made every snowflake seem like something from a fairytale, every cuddle by the fire like some dream from which I didn't want to wake, every sip of hot cocoa like the nectar of the gods. Everything was just better. But I guess she didn't see it that way... I guess my measly present of a ring wasn't good enough, a ring which had been passed down generation to generation by the men and women of my family as a token of their love. By January 23, she was gone, gone and dating my brother! That's why I'm here...that's why I'm standing on this bridge, calling my parents to say my last goodbyes... and wishing them my last "Merry Christmas".
