Mary Eastey always knew she was different, not that let it show. She never liked drooling on and on about boys at the park like the other girls, not to mention how her very presence changed the world around her, like how her anger would make a soft wind  gust, or how sheets of rain parted around her, leaving untouched. 

She had a peaceful life in the UK, but her parent ran into food trouble when her dad lost his job, and the family had to move into the New World, into Salem. On one cloudy day in Salem, as Mary was watching over her 2 little sisters, she spotted a figure in the corner of her eye. that figure, was a strikingly beautiful girl, she stood tall, under the trees who wore dark brown hair, a perfectly sculpted jaw sharp as a knife, and skin... pale as bone 


I stumbled upon the idea for this book while I accidentally overheard a conversation about the Salem witch trials, and that reminded me of a distant ancestor I knew of that died in the trials. So, between Mary Towne Eastey, the Salem witch trials, and my ongoing search for a good lesbian vampire romance, this book was born
