Ivy Ryan finally got her chance to move to Chicago. Things don't go the way she hopes, starting with not getting her dream job. While she is searching for a job, so she can stay in Chicago. Ivy attracts the lawyer/nightclub owner, Vincent Barron. 

Ivy doesn't understand why Vincent is so attracted to her. She is just a nobody from nowhere. Ivy struggles to make a life for herself in Chicago while pushing Vincent away after a misunderstanding.
