I honestly can’t believe Rue You is doing so well - thank you so much for engaging with it. Since no one’s really responded to my author’s note under Dynasty, I’ve decided to add some context and lore to each piece once it passes 250 reads.

Rue You was written over the course of several months. It’s inspired by a friend who had a huge crush on someone, only to later hear that this person had been accused of something awful. For a while, it was devastating - until the truth came out: the accusations were false. So this piece kind of traces that emotional journey through a more philosophical lens.
