Write a story about a fight between two best friends with heavy detail. One of the friends is clearly in the wrong but can't let it go. He or she keeps tearing down his or her best friend until the best friend orders him or her to leave them be. Once he or she is  told to leave, he or she realizes that their best friend is in love with them, but he or she is too proud to apologize. Whoever they are storms out instead because they had begun to listen to other people say bad things about his or her best friend, rather than themselves.

The next day, the friend shows up at the character's house in order to cook them dinner. It seems as though they truly don't remember a fight, and that it was a dream... was it? That can be for you to decide. Also, who doesn't think the best friends should be best friends? If you can include pre-writing, please do so. It's always good to see how a writer plans his or her work. Whether there is a physical fight or just words thrown is up to you, and so are the best friend's insecurities. Just make sure that it's at least got some cursing so it's rated R.
