Fear. It is the remaining blood on my stained finger. The crimson tainted crevices in the smallest parts of my pores that are futile to reach and rid myself of. Fear is the impurity that rejects the notion of just being merely wiped away. Fear refuses to be rubbed off and it resists disappearance. Fear is my enemy.

“To enter the lion’s den would be a privilege and an honor with you by my side.” Even though the fear of death and the unknown still haunt my conscious mind, I realize the girl I truly am would not even be phased by the challenge. Now it is my duty to represent her to the best of my abilities and if that means facing Hell straight on, I must do it. I will do it.
