I did once think that this place was where you would find peace, but never did I one question how much peace I would actually find.
When I was young, I would run around the outside area while my mom called after me. I was a pretty mischievous child back when I was young, especially when I was younger.
Well, I guess you do grow up. Once, the young me wanted to be older. Now, I realize that being younger is much better than what people give credit.
But now, I reflect where I messed up. Where did I make that one mistake that caused my whole life to look like a tornado had just flown through it? Maybe, it was when I got between the fight that was between my older brother and my dad.
Now, when we get into the car, I sit in the back seat, tears silently streaming down my face, while my dad yelled at me while driving and my mom sitting in the passenger seat with a blank look on her face.
"You are once worthless piece of garbage, you know that right? How many times do I have to tell you to shut up? You have no right to talk out of turn like you did," Dad yelled.
What did I do this time? Let's recall what happened, shall we?
I was changing my clothes getting ready to go to this "peaceful" place, when suddenly I heard banging on the door, and I yelled in fright. I slowly opened the door, and outside stood my father and my mother coming close after. After that, my dad yelled at me. Why you ask?
